hey, new here and am 15 and going to my first Kings show. I'm used to going to a lot of goth rock/punk rock concerts but have no idea what to expect. Can anyone help me?

Go in there with an open mind and pretty much expect to be rocked! Hahah.. its sounds so corny but it's true. So you like goth and punk but you are into the kings? Way cool. Welcome to the boards.

yeah, yep, goth/punk but love the kings because they remind me of the stuff my dad used to play. He was goth/punk growing up too but was a softy for more indie, southern, garage rock also. He used to sing a lot to me, but now i don't see him a lot so, it's like a compensation for not seeing him.
Thanks

I'm going to my first show too and I have no idea what to expect. I really want to meet them, but I don't know how I would get that lucky.

Scope out the outside of the venue... See where they are exiting and entering and don't bug them if they look busy. If you just walk up and introduce yourself most people in bands will be nice.

I can call Youth slightly punky in some ways.
Let us know how you get on!

Well, what to expect...if its a good crowed, you'll be consumed by the rapture their music envokes. Every show I've gone to I show up all pretty and indie lookin...by the nights end, Im sweaty as fuck and look awful, but I don't care. The rush gives you a high for the next week or so. And, everytime I've met the kings I've been sweaty and disgusting, but they love it. So, keep an eye out for viscious bitches that will crush you to get closer, bring a friend who likes to fight (back)...and let go. Have a blast, let me know how it goes.

I seen MCR and it was the worst crowd I had experienced in a long time. This was at a club that fit about 300 people or so and it was horrible. I was litterally kneeled down on the stage pretty much face to face with Frank throughout the whole thing. It was awesome though.

Frank kind of scares me, but I could have endured him for the concert. I've never been to a concert where I've had to stand, my mom thinks I'd be torn to pieces.

no, I went to my first gig for MCR when they first came out. My dad's in a band in Jersey and knew the guys so he got my friend and I into this 21 and older club when we were twelve. Gerard snuck us in. We got killed in the pit. Had a hell of a good time, but ribs have never been the same since. The kings I think will be a much tamer concert.

Sounds awesome. Ya, I expect the Kings will be tamer. Sorry about the ribs, haha.

agnostic front is amazing. I love them. But yeah, I love those types of gigs, but I'm in the mood for a slightly tamer one. I have preseason the next day so it won't be too good if I show up with broken bones again. LOL.

He just turns me on. I've never been to a MCR gig, cause they always sell out before I get a ticket But I've watched live performances on TV and whoa Frank plays the guitar like he's making love to a woman.
