Sum up your day.. ok here goes Well started off ok, considering its a monday, work was ok not too busy, then lunchtime came and it all went downhill from there. Got a call from my best mate who informed me that she has a serious heart condition!! What a shock! She said that she was told it could be a symptom of something else or it could just be this. We are all hoping it is a symptom of something else that way some treatment can be given and she will be fine. She has been keeping this from everyone for weeks cause she didn't want to worry everyone!! Now she has started to tell her family and friends. She is going for more tests to see what the story is, basically she was told that people can live with this and others can die from this Can't believe it she's the same age as me and has two little boys so can everyone just say a prayer that all will be ok? So there you go thats my crappy day all summed up. Thanks

i haven't prayed in years (i've always been atheist) - but i'll defiantly spare a thought for your friend and i hope she'll be alright. She sounds like a fighter

I don't believe in God or whatever, but I do light a candle every time someone close to me is in the hospital, or has a hard examination, ... ( a bit cheesy, I know, I got if from my mom) I'm sorry to hear about your friend, but I'm sure she'll be alright. I'll light a candle for her, instead of a prayer, if that's okay .

Today nothing exciting happened. I went to work, felt quite ill for most of the day and then came home. Watched Neighbours and Home and Away.
I did trap my finger in the cutlery drawer though, which hurt!

Pretty good day, i didnt have much homework since i had nearly no classes - the start of year mass was on. except when we were all talking about who would you trust no to cheat on you, well i wasnt because i thought it was a bit sly to give out about behind people ehing their backs like that, but i did say whether or not i would to a few of them who were there (i had to say 'no' to one of them, felt bad, but everyone else did too , she does get around a bit). But one of the girls (who is generally considered the hottest girl in school) who was sitting on the opposite end of the bench was having the same conversation but with different people loudly said something very nasty about me when my name was mentioned, not knowing i was sitting further down the bench. I wont repeat it but it was a real low-blow. It was weird because shes generally a happy go lucky and friendly girl and even though we're not exactly friends, we've always gotten along well. She just buried her head in her hands and laughed when she realized i'd heard, she was red in the face in the for a while and a few people just kind of looked at her and said ''sly act'' (irish slang for low-blow). I didnt react, i just shrugged it off, not everyones gonna like you. I didnt let it get me down and turned out to have a good day. My new drumheads came in the post and it turns out i'd overestimated the price and so i have a bit more money in my pocket for Friday night
Apologies for length - i could probaby use this as my next short story for English class

thanks for that groupielove, but she actually apologized to me today and so i forgave her and i told her just to forget it ever happened. I'd been getting texts last night from friends that she was really feeling bad about it and she was really sorry she'd said it because she really sorry. So i guess everything turned out well. Just got home from a school and so i'm (naturally) in a 'riot' mood and listening to some of the most heavy and energetic music on my computer. I have training in about 2 hours and , even though i dont have 'lots' of homework i have a massive biology test tomorrow to study for. Also im feeling very smart cos alot of my friends just got theirs and didnt come near the standard i did last year. normally i'd be consoling them but they were all really cocky and expected the results without the study. of course they used the age old 'sure i didnt study at all for it', but i explained to them the sheet with the results on it didnt come with a 'Attention: this student didnt actually study at all, so they did good really'. And on top of that i got 94% on a really, really hard history test. so its been a great day so far. i'll probably end up breaking a leg or something at training to balance my karma, but it'll be worth it
good damn thats long - apologies to everyone.

ugggggh today sucked.
so i didn't get home until like 12:15 last night...so i ws quite tired the whole day at school. in english we got papers back and my teacher wrote "LAME" on like 8 different spots in my paper. then in journalism i got told that i needed to be nicer to this really annoying girl in my class which i dont understand for the following reasons: 1- I was actually trying to go out of my way to be nice and act interested 2- I don't get why I have to go out of my way to be extra nice to people who aren't nice anyway. Blah. So then I had to go to my sister's family pizza social at her school with a bunch of elementary school kids. I almost had a panic attack, kids make me so uncomfortable. Tomorrow I have 2 quizzes and a timed writing in english so i'm majorly stresed and I already have 2 C's and we haven't even been in school for three weeks. kjaf;ldskjfas.

Well, I just moved to Denver on Monday so I've been looking for an apartment. I had an interview this morning at this place called Mad Greens. They make salads & paninis. I GOT THE JOB!!
So now I just need a place to lay my head. Currently I'm staying at a youth hostel but sharing a bathroom...I dunno, it drives me a little crazy.
I'm on sabbatical, busman's holiday type deal so if anyone lives in Denver or has any interesting things they know about Denver, please p.m. I'm very alone. 2 states up from my home and I'm looking for something good to do.

Today I had off from work, so I packed my suitcase and sharpened fishing hooks for an hour or so. I got my fishing gear in good working order, and made supper for my mom and my kids. Sunday morning I have to work from 6-10am, then I'm off to Morson, Ontario, Canada to fish a three day long Muskie Tournament and go to a couple of meetings regarding the Muskie fishery in the USA. I suppose it doesn't sound like as much fun as going to Bonnarooo or something, but I've waited all year for this. I won't be near a computer or anything all next week. I'll fish all day, eat outside by the fire every evening, and listen to the waves splashing against the shore of Lake Of The Woods as I drift off to sleep each night. You must admit it sounds pretty good huh.
