I've just signed up to take part in the Live Below the Poverty Line challenge for Unicef. The task is to live on £1 pound of food and drink per day for 5 days. That's only £5 pound for 5 days worth of food. This is to replicate the conditions that millions of people are living in every day. I'm hoping to raise as much money as possible for Unicef which is the biggest children's charity in the world. The objective is to raise awareness to try to eliminate child hunger and death due to starvation. Over the course of my 5 day challenge over 29,000 children will die from lack of food when there is enough food produced throughout the world to feed the entire population.
So anyway, I'm just letting you all know about this great cause- maybe some of you will want to sign up(you can do it no matter what country you're in and for whatever charity you like
) and maybe some of you will be so kind as to make a donation to me online. It can be as little as you want, everything counts and i would be incredibly grateful for any support. Even words of encouragement!
