so i work at a store that sells band merch and we recently got in a huge shipment of metal shirts, my question is... what is up with metal shirts now!? For example: www.rockworldeast.com/store/Cattle_Decapitation_T-Shirt_Sacrificemaybe its just me but i find that obnoxious and unecessary! what about you guys, would you wear it? do you think people would judge you?

It suits the band name. I've never heard of them, but I find that certain sub-genres of metal always have ridiculous shirts. They already have ridiculous band names (and logos no-one can even read) to start with. A lot of them use all that gore just to grab attention. They usually don't have a huge audience; it's often a selected group of teenage boys only and most of them grow out of it and turn to regular metal/hard rock. Having said that, I also remember t-shirts that Cradle of Filth had, I think they said "Jesus is a cunt" and they're a pretty famous band (i.e. also known outside the metal crowd). There was a huge fuss over those shirts, that they should be banned and whatnot. I guess people wearing the shirt you linked are judged for it, but I suppose most people doing the judging would see it as a phase of the person wearing it. The sick fucks wearing shirts like this & going on shooting rampages, are sick fucks regardless.*steps off soap box*

Wow, yeah that's pretty bad. I might sound like a mom when I say this but seriously... what if you were wearing that and you ran into your Grandma? Lol. What would she think?
