I would greatly appreciate it if you lovelies here on HA could help me w/ my statistics homework! All you have to do is answer the following question: Two straight A students from Duke University decide to go skiing for the weekend, and are having such a good time they decide to blow off the calculus exam that they have scheduled for Monday morning in order to get some final runs in before they head back to school. They decide to tell the prof that they got a flat tire and therefore deserve to take the exam at a rescheduled time.
Hearing the story, said professor agrees that it really was just bad luck, and of course they can take the exam later. At the appointed time, the prof greets them and places them in two separate rooms to take the exam.
The first question on the first page is worth a minor 5 points, and is quite easy. Each student grows progressively confident as they take the test, sure that they have gotten away with fooling the professor. However, when they turn to the second question they discover that they really haven't.
The only question on the page, worth 95 points, reads: "Which tire?" ok your choices are: Front Left Front Right Back Left Back Rightleave ur answer and if you have heard of this b4 dont say anything, just post ur answer Thank You!

Ah! If this is the kind of puzzle I think it is I love these things... But I'm also totally stumped Back Right? (Just to pick a totally random one) 9 HOURS LATER EDIT: Haha whoa I think I got the wrong end of the stick entirely The chances of getting the same thing would be one in 4 wouldn't they? P(person1 correct) x P(person2 correct) = 0.25 x 0.25 = 0.0625 And there are 4 possible correct combos so 0.0625 x 4 = 0.25
