Hope that all Californian and Mexican HAers are all right, and no one was hurt, and nobody's homes sustained much damage.
Thinking of you. Stay strong.

Hello! Just wanted to let everyone know that alls well! We are about 35 miles north of the center of that 7.2 quake. We were in San Diego for Easter when it struck and we drove home to assess the damage. We have a broken water pipe downstairs leaking slowly into the carpet. A broken bedroom window, some cracks along the ceiling and some walls and some water damage from our water dispenser falling over. Lots of things flew out of cupboards and off shelves. My kids dressers fell over, one had a tv on it. Some pictures and things hanging on the wall fell off and theres some cracks and structural damage outside as well. Could have been worse and everyones alive and fine. Well except for one of our fish, which sadly died from being tossed out of the tank and onto the carpet. We lost power for about 16 hrs, it came back on around 8 am this morning. Thank you for thinking of us!

Being a mom, I understand but I think they will be okay. I mean, you never really know about earthquakes but they are saying that for the next couple of weeks there will be a few more aftershocks possibly being magnitude 4.0 to 6.0 and then it should die off. There has been over 500 aftershocks already though so our house still rumbles and sways every now and then. As far as the deaths: 2 in Mexico... 1 was cause a mans house collapsed on him and the other because a man panicked, ran out of his house and was hit by a car. Their was a serious injury in my town where a man was hit in the head with a car wash sign. I dont know of any updates on him. So anyway, right now we are just taking it one day at a time and knowing that it could have been worse.
