Good woman Ruth 2 sets of Followill eyes on the twins! Its really been an amazing tour for them and us. In the past year and a half i've seen them 6 times in 3 different countries. Each time has been unbelievable, there's so many highlights. Paris for the TINY amazing venue, getting Matt's plec, when Caleb thanked us for traveling over and the big HA meet up. Waiting for the Kings after with everyone was such craic. It was like sitting around with all your normal mates but you were allowed to talk about nothing but the Kings. Seeing them twice in London this summer was also unreal especially cos each time we were convinced we'd never get a ticket. Also seeing red morning light live completed my life. But the main one for me has to be The O2 Dublin gig back in December. The crowd that night were out of this world unreal! Its truly impossible to describe how mind-blowingly amazing that gig really was. The boys and the crowd - everyone was perfect! It was also my little sister's first KOL gig so getting to see her face when they played Razz (at one point she actually left me and my cousin to get a better view of Jared's bassface - never been more proud of her!) and Trani was golden. Its an experience my sister, my cousin and I will have for the rest of our lives. I actually don't think I could ever thank the kings enough for this tour or the last 5 years in general. I literally can't wait for album number 5 and its tour AFTER a nice LONG break for the boys!!

^^Know what you mean about Paris..it was great craic after the gig..and what a venue!! Its hard to pick a highlight because all the gigs were fantastic in their own ways. The best thing overall was meeting so many other HA'ers and going to see a band surrounded by people who are just as nuts as you are about them..makes it WAY more fun. Karma for the thread Ruthie, its a really nice idea

Highlights of the tour for me were....... Meeting HA'ers in Arizona. Me, Ruth, Dave, Claire + Sophie. Having my photo taken with this man in San Francisco! Me and Dan speaking to Nacho in Madrid (even though the gig was cancelled) All in all this year has been the best of my life, thanks to Kings Of Leon and all you HA'ers! I can't wait to do it all again.......and hopefully soon

I have wayyy too many shows to go over each one so I'm just gonna pick the best highlights Brighton for the setlist - probably the best KOL will ever play these days and also one of the longest. Everything about that was perfect! Paris because I think there must have been about 2 French people on the barrier and the rest HA'ers. At least that's what it felt like! And thinking the floor was gonna cave in and have some little French guy scream "Charrrrmerrr" after every song was priceless! The first night of the o2 was pretty epic because of all the surprises in the setlist that I wasn't really expecting and being with all HA'ers too was cool Houston because it felt like I was back here in a way seeing them, crowd were really good and Kings really rocked it that night . Austin City Limits purely for Eddie Vedder joining them during SNSL, I really did think I'd never see the day that happened again! And definitely Bournemouth because I got to meet them and it's a bit more of an intimate venue than the others they played last December. Also it's almost a hometown gig for me I have so many more memories from all the other shows, this year has been so epic!

I know I'm biased but of all the shows I was at on this tour the Dublin crowd were the best by far. I remember looking back up at the balcony and actually thinking it was gonna come down. It was swaying. Crazy, crazy crowd. The only thing I didn't like about this show was walking back in to town in the rain because we couldn't get a cab. Ended up at a house party until 8am the next morning - boy was I ill! Here's some pics from the Dublin show, December, 2008 - Oh and Lowry, it was fab to meet you too

I'm double posting because I'm feeling all nostalgic now that the tour is over ... Here's one of my fav HA tour pics. From Paris and I think it was the biggest meet up. Fun times Aaaaaw, look at us . That, for me, was the best gig of their OBTN tour. The venue was so intimate, and the people there were amazing of course. Plus, we got to see Bryan Ferry, haha.

Two huge highlights for me were The Walkmen and White Lies. I went to eight shows on the tour, four in Europe and four in America and the standard of support act in the States was vastly superior than in Europe. Why does this have to be the case M83 - no comment In fairness The Ettes were very good in Paris but the less said about Glasvegas the better. Oh and here's another memory from the tour - having to share a room with this for a week Katie - it must me love! I kid, I kid. San Francisco, May, 2009 -

My oh my this is a great thread! Great to see some action in the tour section, Nathan just tweeted about the tour being officially over and it made me sad My memory (singular ) is no way near as exciting/photographic as everyone elses, but it still rates as one of the best moments ever. I didn't meet anyone, or get anything, but it was worth it, just being there. If I'm going to be honest it probably wasn't as great as the BOTT show, but I was a bigger fan this time round, and actually got near the front and knew what to expect. Plus, I fainted at a very strategic moment so I technically still haven't heard SOF live, and I'm OK with that too

Caleb was just so over the moon to meet Dave I actually think Leb was saying in his head: "Man I better show this dude some love. After all he came here from Ireland with a cackle of women and had to listen to them all week!"

God this thread is making me feel really nostalgic Where to start with what was best. I guess considering Arizona is my most favourite song in the world ever hearing it in Arizona was an experience I will never forget and doubt there's much to beat it. That aside the chance to travel all over the world and meet so many people from this site and the official site and not only that but to make some great friends too is something that I never expected when I joined this site a few years back The first meeting was in Glasgow when I met Montana and Ruth, I greeted them at the door in my towel straight out of the shower and we got on like a house on fire immediately, what a nite.... Hahahahahahaha, dont even ask, u had to be there After that was Dublin which was an amazing show, amazing atmosphere and Whelans afterwards was great craic too.... Then was Wembly, met Cat but ended up on my own in the crowd somewhere cause that crowd was rough Then NYC, what a trip that was....amazing, amazing, amazing. Not my favourite show tho cause our seats were shit and I think we were duped when we bought the seating plan was different and there was no standing so I was a bit peeved...meeting everyone that time was brilliant tho I look pretty demented in that pic but was glad we got to meet one of the Followill clan at least after freezing my balls off Then AZ & SF trip........... the loot: The money shot: The gang: Then there was the 2 shows in O2 London, seats and crowd for first one was shit and 2nd was brill...cant wait for the DVD. The Nashville baby........hometown, end of Kings tour, end of mine...for now This post was a lot longer than I intended but what a year its been meeting everyone, seeing places I never thought I'd see and seeing the Kings so many times. Cant wait for next tour
