A message from Mark at Absolute Radio sent to us! "It's been great to have Happy Alone involved in the first round of Live Stories, and we're just starting the next one, so I thought I'd give you a heads up. Basically, we’re asking music fans who they think is the best live act and why, with the public’s favourite entries winning up to £1,500. Here's how the competition works: * Invite your forum members to enter the Absolute Radio Live Stories competition * They can then tell us who their favourite live acts are and why (in 300 words or less) * All the entries will go up on Absolute Radio’s website, where the public will be able to vote for their favourite The top three stories will win cash, with 1st place getting £1,500, 2nd place £1,000 and 3rd place £500.On top of this, forum members will be able to say which forum they’re from. The forums with the most popular entries will go through to the final for a chance to create a virtual festival radio show on Absolute Radio." Do you have to live in the UK? It says "international forums" on the terms and conditions page, but was that for the first competitions, not this one?

OK wow, I just got an email from Mark at Absolute Radio, I'm through into the final!! I don't really know why, I didn't think my story was that great, but hey  I'm quite excited! Please, please vote for me here www.absoluteradio.co.uk/music/live/stories/final.html , if I win we (not just me, happyalone in general!) get the radio show Just to reiterate, this has now turned into a HappyAlone thing, not just me!
