Boys, every set you deliver is done with such professionalism, you always sound great no matter what the tunes. However, a few changes to the set would be greatly appreciated by your fans. It's becoming a little too predictable of late Reply away if you agree guys! I don't mean this as a request thread. It's not a play this song, play that song etc kinda thing. Just a general plea for the guys to mix it up a bit

Totally agree. Come on boys, you have 4 albums under your belt now, plus b-sides, give us something different

Signed. Been listening/getting into QOTSA recently ( a bit late granted ) and saw an interview with them saying they were changing the set list of their summer tour every night to keep things interesting for THEMSELVES and to surprise fans. I want the boys to have fun EVERY night they go on stage..and i honestly think switching things up will help keep em fresh and loving it..and we'll get to dance our fucking arses off to the oldies

Surely they must get bored night after night playing the same songs?

Do you not think this thread is ever so slightly presumptuous timgrw? In all fairness, we can only guess at why they leave it unchanged for so long

Signed. Dudes, mix it up! No requests, just play something entirely different. Or at least throw in 3-4 songs that we havent heard for a while.

that you know why they don't change it, so therefore, you're kinda, telling them to.. which i quite admire you for the balls to do it, yet it still, like i say, seems a little presumptuous.. and bossy

Ha! I'm not telling them to change it - it's a 'petition.' I'm saying it would be nice if they would and not play the same stuff night after night. After eight shows on this tour and one to go I'd love if they mixed it up a bit.

Sure, but the purpose of a 'petition' is to tell someone to do something, a petition isn't an 'ask', it's a mass 'telling'.
You go ahead and do what you feel you have to, i just wanted to voice my concern.

No worries! Perhaps the word petition is the wrong one but people catch my drift Actually maybe I shall remove that word altogether. *removes*

Maybe we could bribe em with sexual favours..then its a win win situation for all and we're not being bossy..just persuasive

This isn't bossy at all Ruth. You were very careful with how you put it. IMO, this was a long-time coming. Now if we said "CHANGE THE FUCKING SETLIST OR WE'LL BOYCOTT YOUR ASSES!!"...that would be bossy
