I guess we should wait and see, but when I read that, my heart sank a little bit, I really do like lykke li's remix, but justin timberlake ??, it doesnt sound right, as for linkin park ? I remember reading somewhere that the kings had never really been into 'new metal' so for linkin park to remix them is a bit odd, mind you, they did a good remix of depeche mode's enjoy the silence.

I would not buy it, thats for sure, but I would still want to see if it will be good. To me remixes albums always felt like fillers, to keep the masses entertained while the band is not in great activity. I dont know, I feel weird about all this.

But on the other hand it could be genuinely because the Kings want to know how their songs could turn into the hands of other musicians, with other musical approaches.

Only By The Night is a great choice for remix material, it's perfect to be played around with, it's got so much there already. I'd be feeling better if there were some more respectable names lining up tho but none the less i am really looking forward to this! Jared seems to have his head screwed on right when it comes to dance /electro so he'll keep it good. Maybe it's kinda his pet project?

Who is ready for 13 tracks of just Use Somebody and Sex On Fire remixes? Because thats how I picture the album. A bunch of A-Listers such as Timberlake remixing Use Somebody. I did hear Trent Rezner from Nine Inch Nails might remix something, perhaps Cold Desert or Arizona. Why does KoL piss and moan when they get crowds of "two song" fans but turn around and let this shit happen?

Is anyone reaally that surprised by this i mean look at the jump they took from the first 2 albums to the last 2.. not slagging the last 2 off or anything ( except maybe for only by the night cause it was pants )

but anyways the change was pretty drastic so a remix album wouldn't be that crazy in fairness..

i never really listened to kol remix songs...except for the lykke li one, cause it's absolutely fantastic and i love her music anyways...

i hate to hear dance-versions of songs like 'use somebody' or 'sex on fire'. it sounds like sh*t

But I reaally don't want to see how others have mixed KoL songs..
