Am I in the dark or did we hear that there was going to be a video for revelry about a motorcycle gang? Maybe it is floating around somewhere, maybe I'm dense, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Any help??

Yea that's what they said was going to happen, maybe because it didn't do very well....or maybe that's why it didn't do very well....

It definitely never appeared. There was about a 30 page thread on here that was just us waiting... To no avail. There was an interview though, where they showed about 30 seconds of it. So it does exist, somewhere!

I think they are still riding the popularity of use somebody...'cause even after they released notion, use somebody is still doing really well...I guess it's good for their career, but sucks for the fans!  |

Im kinda glad there was no video.. cos "revelry" is one of them spectacular songs .. and if it was bashed the way "sex on fire" and "use somebody" were it would become absolute crap and lose the spark that the song ignited!

I also reckon that Revelry might have been pulled as the single becuase it is quite cheesy (not in an insulting way, it just doesn't pack the punch that Crawl / SoF do). I reckon that if they had released Revelry as well as Use Somebody, people would think they were all soft and sentimental, a bit in the same way that everyone knows Snow Patrol for 'Chasing Cars'. Overall it's probably not the sound / image they're after...

I bet if they don't ever release Revelry as a single, they will at least add the video they shot as a bonus feature for their live concert dvd! that would be epic!
