Or is that too much to ask? Haha. I sure as hell don't think I could narrow it down! But if you have one, I'd love to hear what it is. And if there's a KoL song you just can't get out of your head right now, do tell! Recently I can't stop with Trani, Charmer and I Want You. Dunno what it is about those. Maybe the general Kings AWESOMENESS has something to do with it lol. Or just all the little nuances that make me shiver and smile. Anyway, let's hear it guys - favourites! XXX

It's hard to say just one, but Trani seems to be the one I enjoy listening to the most, both live and album version Right now though, I'm obsessed with Beneath The Surface. It's brilliant, can't see why they didn't include it on the album instead of Notion.. or 17.. or Use Somebody.. or Sex On Fire...

Crawl, which is strange because I'm not a massive OBTN fan but that song is friggin' amazing.
Followed very closely by Holy Roller and Black Thumbnail.

Slow Night So Long.
It's the first song that really ever stood out for me live. I absolutely love the energy from it. It's my phone ring tone (has been for 2 years) and I'm still not fed up with it. Everyone always thinks it's a strange song to pick, but it just does something to me.

It's virtually impossible to pick one! Taper Jean Girl was the song that made me listen to them, but I'd have to say Wicker Chair or Black Thumbnail, depending on my mood.

It's so hard isn't it! Pepscake - I have Trani as my ringtone! I just love those first chilling chords. I totally got obsessed with the OBTN B-sides as well. To be honest, I think all the B-sides could have made it onto an album. I love Wicker Chair, Woo Hoo and My Third House too, just as much as any of the album songs. There's practically no difference in the standard of songs. They're all brilliant. Since Jeffica brought it up, what song first made you listen to them too? I think, for some strange reason, the first one I heard was Day Old Blues. One of my friends played it to me, and I couldn't stop listening. It made me get Aha Shake. Still a fave I think it says a lot about a band when you can get hooked on them with a lesser-known song like DOB

Mine would have to be "The Bucket." On iTunes the play count was around 600+ listens, I only had the album for a little over 7 months. It was nonstop. I have a funeral album on my iPod, a list of songs I want to be played at my funeral. The Bucket is last because I want it playing as I am lowered into the ground. Weird, I know.

I have a funeral album on my iPod, a list of songs I want to be played at my funeral. The Bucket is last because I want it playing as I am lowered into the ground. Weird, I know. I'm listening to The Bucket now and thinking it wold probably be an unusually upbeat song to have at a funeral lol, but ironic too cos it says "you kick the bucket" in it. To me it's like a continuation, that song. Like, the lyrics have no specific start or end, it's just what's going on. I'm not explaining this well at all lol, I guess what I mean is it's like a snapshot in time, and when the chorus plays I feel like the moment's in slow motion, you're taking in the scene around you as though committing it to memory, revelling in it. And then it speeds up again and its like, life carries on. It's kinda cheerful in that way, just like a nostalgic memory - so a good choice for a funeral! I'm gonna shut up now!

Arizona, Manhattan, and Knocked Up. I love all their upbeat tunes, but those were the ones that really took my breath away when I first heard them and really made me appreciate the band musically.
