Eyelash tinting is the bomb. I hate mascara. Ive been thinking about getting mine tinted because i dont like wearing a lot of make-up most days but because im pale i feel washed out a lot of the time!! How long does the tinting last before you have to get it re-done??

Eyelash tints last a couple of weeks. The key is - use an eyelash curler.

Another great tip for eyelash curlers - warm it up with your hair dryer before hand - makes your lashes stand at attention!

I'm a big Lancome mascara girl - Hypnose, Fatale & Virtouse are amazing. Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara is amazing too and leaves your eyelashes really soft instead of that rock-hard feeling which I hate. I use Body Shop's Vitamin E skincare range for my face - cleanser, toner, moisturiser- etc but recently Ive been thinking that, because I do that whole routine twice sometimes three (I know, weird) times a day I would like to use something even more natural. Any one any recommendations? Have looked in to Philosophy, Ole Henrikenson, Dr Hauska, Liz Earle - anyone use any of them? www.beaut.ie is a fab blog for Irish peeps (or any peeps really!) Oh and I agree, Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream is a godsent!! I like Philosophy's Hope In A Jar too, and apparantly there is some Aldi (?) cream that is supposed to be amazing for clearing skin??

Eyelash tint for eyebrows too. I do my eyelashes but still need mascara, however at least when I wake up in the morning with no makeup I don't look albino like I used to.
Not sure if it's available worldwide, but Carmex lip balm (originally for coldsores) is great just as a chap stick. With sensitive skin, some chap sticks make me break out in little blisters but not this one.
Tips from my modeling days - eyelash curler, Carmex, Maybelline Great Lash mascara (makeup artists used it 9/10 times), and blue eye drops to make eye whites even whiter.
For pimples - put on a thin layer of antibiotic ointment (e.g. Neosporin) and most of the times they're gone by morning. Really helped me when I went off the pill and my skin started breaking out.

mascara! i have white eyelashes so i need all the help i can get tinting might not work if your lashes are properly white. anyhoo when i did my beauty training we learnt a few rules about buying makeup 1-spend as much as possible on foundation and concealer but less on lipstick and eyeshadow untill you find a few shades that you love. 2-most mascaras are made in the same way so except from the most expensive and cheapest there isnt much difference, so find one with a brush you find nice to use. 3-one of the main differences between excpensive and cheap is how finely powders are milled this makes the colours more even so spend extra on blush and bronzer to avoid lines and streaks of colour. 4-many companies make products for two or more brands i think virgin vie is made by the same company as channel and bourgoius(sp?) is made in the same place as some other big brand. this proves that sometimes you are only paying for the brand name. hope that helps
