www.youtube.com/watch?v=kf00GNWncqw&feature=relatedAnyone know the legitimacy of this video? I remember at the time of release for the album, iTunes buyers got the SOF video as a bonus and were also to recieve this as well. Dont know if it's legit or not, but thought maybe they just some stock and live footage and put someit together for the fans. It's not on their YouTube page, but neither is the Notion video (last time I checked)

I believe it is official, it was one of their last "home movies" and it was titled "Crawl video".
It's the video on Sept. 24th.

I guess this could be considered appropriate in this thread. There's a video on youtube called 'Kings of Leon - Only By The Night home video to Be Somebody' and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! it's my favourite out of that little group of vids for Crawl, Be Somebody and Manhattan. i have NO idea what the film is that's being played but the mood/atmosphere that film creates just seems to fit so well combined with the song. The quality of the sound clip has got to be intentional, as the film clip has the same distanced yet completely intimate feel to it also. Like you're watching it through someone elses eyes almost. I think it's great how it suggests it's either an original recording of them playing in the next room or is being played in the background somewhere on someones stereo and it's not important which it is because of how well the video piece creates a personality of its own. The film quality is reminiscent of some of those youtube clips where someone has filmed something off of their tv. It's toying with the idea of intimacy and distance and there are several elements which suggest that, whether intentional or otherwise, such as the dog running in half way through as they're editing it together. It's emotive! It's a really beautiful piece, I can imagine it being played at the Tate gallery in London, I absolutely adore the feel of it and i have a little bit of the horn for its god damn gorgeous creativity! Now, you've read that and if you use this link www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6Xx7f83c6o you can come back and tell me what you think. edit: It's unofficial, i've just checked. Has nothing, apart from the song, to do with KoL. Also, i've just realised how many of those type of videos there are. It's SO cool to see where people take the inspiration they get from KoL and what they apply it to. Like one big cycled, recycled, creative, inspired, circle. It's wicked!
