So, trawled and couldn't find anything related so excuse me if I'm being truly dim and this has been done to death somewhere else....been trying to figure out (prolly foolishly) what Woo Hoo's about...
Seems to me it's about *ahem* reciprocal satisfaction in a carnal manner...he can, she tries but can't - that kinda thing...
Discuss.

I couldn't tell you what he was saying in the chorus to save my life. "Washigthedogjufepsthefrug%iytnc$jda@!#jg WOOO-HOOOO!" I'll be interesting to see what you guys come up with.

I LOVE THIS SONG!!!! "Washigthedogjufepsthefrug%iytnc$jda@!#jg WOOO-HOOOO!" HAHAHA!! I'd say that's it!!! (gotta love Caleb) 'cept I think it's something like this: Kick in the door get on the floor went on a woman prowl Woo Hoo! ---- to kiss the night away when I 'ma thinking bout that Woo Hoo Baby you know that i can hold my own when I'm feeling Woo Hoo Baby you know that I could just sail away..
the line - "hopefully she knows not to come back now" just cracks me up - to me it's just very funny. And "still she says 'can't get none' " It's such a great song. One of my best memories of last summer was banging down the motorway in the camper with all 5 of us yelling along to this. It's my 9yr olds favourite too, bless her. Rach, I've always taken it to be about some guy, not the sharpest tool in the box who had a relationship that deteriorated - she was like her mother, (whatever that's supposed to mean) and also kept criticising his sexual performance. He couldn't satisfy her, or at least she kept saying it though he believes there's nothing wrong with him ( he can hold his own when he's feeling woo hoo) till she ran off. He's no idea where she is now and he's waited for her to come back. He's not heard from her since and now thinks she's not coming back, in fact that's now what he hopes, cos he's decided to get back out there ( he's taking his own advice 'like a father's" advice) and is in clubs etc picking up other women. Woo Hoo! Classy Caleb, classy! Wow - that's a big fat post! I'm not infatuated with this song at all, btw.

I reckon Mandy has pretty much hit the nail on the head with the meaning (I’m gonna go with it anyway!). Where you’ve put the ’s in the lyrics does he say ‘ something to kiss the night away…….’ or am I clutching at straws? Your little summer memory of Woo Hoo last year is also adorable

seems to be saying "sucking and kissing" to my ears...but as usual tic you think about these things way more than I can muster Interesting stuff. It's my kids' fave too...so in a way I'd almost rather just tra-la-la my way through it than singalonga Caleb's carnal musings heheh

The Lyrics (apparantly)
Love the days She's gone for the moment I don't know which way she was going Lord, it's been A long warm November I know now She acts like her mother
I've been holding on Here forever And I don't know where she's gone But hopefully She knows not to come back now
Kick in the door, get on the floor Went on a woman prowl (Woo Hoo) Something to kiss the night away When I'm taking back that (Woo Hoo) Baby you know that I can hold my own When I'm feeling (Woo Hoo) Baby, you know, that I could just sail away
Gone away So gone in the moment Still cant tell which way she was going Shaping up And growing right on me Taking my advice Like her father
I've been holding on Here forever And I don't know where she's gone But hopefully she knows not to turn around
Kick in the door, get on the floor Went on a woman prowl (Woo Hoo) Something to kiss the night away When I'm taking back that (Woo Hoo) Baby you know that I can hold my own When I'm feeling (Woo Hoo) Baby, you know, that I could just sail away
She's going to prowl when the storm comes And it'll come, and it'll come, and it'll come Instead she says, "Can't get none".
I think its about someone who has been in a relationship for too long...now is on the "woman prowl" ....

Yeah, he’s split up with his girlfriend and has gone on the pull. Does the last little verse suggest the said ex has come crawling back to him?

No one in my family really knows the words to this 'cept me, especially not my 9 year old. She can't make head nor tale of it. We still yell to it, much like Summerskin's post
Just felt the need to clarify my previous post in case you all thought I was a bad mother!

^lardydar it only natural to assume that with Caleb!! And ticboo, a little KOL goodness is the best thing you can give a child!!! Yeah, he’s split up with his girlfriend and has gone on the pull. Does the last little verse suggest the said ex has come crawling back to him? Could be.....like they were in a relationship but she went off with someone else in 'I've been holding on here forever and I don't know where she's gone ' and maybe sex is the only thing they have in common anymore so he tells her to bugger off in 'But hopefully she knows not to turn around' and then at the end she tries to beg him to tkae her back but he's over her 'She's going to prowl when the storm comes ' Maybe Sounds like it could be about loads of different things though!!!

i always thought she was the one who was shit in bed? sounds to me like he's saying he could just 'pleasure' himself and it would be just as good, also the relationship has gotten boring but she's grown on him now so he'll keep her around just for the hell of it- then she runs away and he hopes she doesn't come back

A always he confuses and confounds us with his lyrical devilment ain't that why we love him?

I just read " she was the one who shit the bed" I was ready to reconsider Caleb and his lyrical prowess!
