i know!  Not your fault. I just really dont want it to be OBTN heavy! On one hand i think, who the fuck am i complain, it will be my 5th and 6th time seeing them this year, since so many people havent seen them ever, yet knowing that it's the last show, with a mammoth long wait before, and TWO opening bands, and just 2 hrs with the boys--man, the prospect of hearing Revelry and I Want You, instead of Wasted Time and Happy Alone is just heartbreaking. |

i'm kind of mad there is another opening band now! only because i have to drive for 5 hours right afterwards but still...
i would totally rather hear happy alone or wasted time... even razz, pistol of fire, soft... than revelry, notion, or i want you!

AHA! See, this 2nd opening band is really putting a wrench in the whole business! I am completely uninterested in standing through another band! I at least hope that they will be BEFORE White Lies. B/c it will be unbearable to sit/stand through someone between White Lies and KOL. UGH...It will be like The Decembrists!!!! |

packing the night before--want to see what the weather will be like and pack accordingly.
Whatever doesnt fit into the backpack isnt coming with me. Shoes are always a downfall though...

other than Trani ... i would REALLY love to hear Arizona, and of course all the songs that everyone else has been mentioning but i'm trying not to be too picky since i've never seen them before, i'm just happy to be going at all! |

AZ is my #1 dream now.
It's also LONG! and you can really take it in. B/c when I heard KOTR, it was great, but over in about 5 secs. Almost all ASH songs are very short, so there is never time to process them well.

so, i just moved here a couple of months ago and i don't know downtown very well...so, all of you who DO know nashville well, can you help me out, please? I have friends coming in from knoxville and i want to take them out that weekend...so, does anyone have any recommendations?! That friday we definitely want to go to a bar but i'm still a couple of months shy of 21 (20 is the longest, most uneventful year). So...the bar would have to be 18+...also, we'll want to eat...and really we're up for anything.
