At this point I don't expect anything BUT huge venues, so I'm not disappointed. I wouldn't not go just because of that, especially since it's in their hometown.

^^Yup just checked. Its between 17 and 20 thousand capacity depending on state setting. Hmmm not sure if i'm as keen now, figured it would be a much much smaller venue Totally. This puts a downer on the whole idea for me! Ah well I'll save some money at least ^^Exactamondo!! Think we should open a kol saving account so we're well prepared for the next tour Its funny about Nashville, i have this idea of a one horse country and western town in my head and then ya see the reality is a big cosmopolitan city. I prefer the version in my head

Im going woohoo, very exciting flying all the way from Australia. Cant wait to cheer the guys on in their home town, hoping it will be extra special cos it is their hometown....hope 2 c u all there!! Aussie's are coming to my hometown?!? Nice! I look forward to meeting you as ALL of you HAer's (especially the one's I haven't met yet) at this show.
Oh and yes the Sommet Center is pretty big. I'd say it's the biggest venue here in Nashville. They put on hockey games there all the time. Anyone who is REALLY big always plays at the Sommet Center. It's both cool and not cool at the same time. Glad they are getting bigger...hate that I have to spend even more money to see them with the possibly I might not get GA...basically thanks to stupid ticket scaplers who buy them all up and them double/triple the price. Errr. Okay, sorry for the rant. haha.

(and the boys don't technically live in Nashville...they live in Green Hills... i think that's what it's called anyway)

Here's a video of the inside of the Sommet Center! Imagine all of us in that front spot but hopefully it will be GA not seating!

I prefer the version in me head too I really dislike massive venues but you're right Sav that's all we're gonna get with KOL from now on I think the people that went to Paris got the last KOL gig at a tiny venue. Big venues have no soul and that Nashville place looks modern and shiney and what not but it also looks yucky in the no soul, no history sense. However, it all depends on the crowd. The venue they played in Dublin in December is the biggest in the country but the place was rockin.

I can see your points about the big arenas...but on the flipside, the roar of the crowd will be louder, you'll feel like more of a part of a bigger thing, there is nothing like the feeling of being in the front row and looking behind you and seeing THOUSANDS of people all in it with you!

^^^ True but it all depends on the crowd. Hopefully their home crowd will be good. The venue in SF was rather large and we were right up the front but most of the crowd sucked. It was sooooooo bad during Knocked Up that I actually felt sorry for the band
