i have lame school and i couldn't get down there til 3 P.M. I've gone to the tonight show and basically if you're there after 1 PM there's no getting in - especially if you don't have a ticket  I might just hang around the parking lot that they would enter / leave. Might be a tad bit creepy - but whatever, i need to ask matt to prom ASAP. hahahaha |

I managed to get in to the afterparty for MSG.. basically the more determined you are the better. Try and make friends with the security guards and talk to people that have an in with the band. We found out the address to the party from their manager or someone and then nacho confirmed it. And once we got their Matt and their tour director(?) got us in.. even if you get to the place where it is Matt is such a smoker he'll have to come out eventually! Good luck  Hope you meet them at the tonight show! |

here's the problem - i can't drive (yet), so it's def going to be hard to get to the party if it's far away....and i'm only 16 (almost 17) when i go to their show, although people do say i look like a college kid maybe i can fake being a college student, so it's not that weird for them to hang with a high schooler ? hahaha
and you're so lucky you got to party with them! were there a lot of people at this afterparty - do they tell a lot of people?

I went to another country to catch them this year.cause they weren't playing belgium.. So, I searched for like an half an hour to find some sort of backstage.. It was dark and it was somewhere..like dunno..we had to walk on this small bumpy road..finally we found the exit where they should have go through when they want to leave.. But they didn't want to come out.. they were just about to go in the car in the garage and drive straight to the hotel.. I was pretty pissed..

I managed to get in to the afterparty for MSG.. basically the more determined you are the better i agree 100%- you either have to be super determined or just damn fucken lucky. i have never counted on just luck. the times i've met them i've just been really smart about where to hang out and such. it's not stalking if you're in a public space where they might be coming to. like the time i was at the hotel where the pre-grammy party was being hosted and they walked right by me. stalking to me is the stories i've heard of girls showing up to their houses. that's nuts! but if they're on tour and you get word of where they might be having a drink i say- why not?! try to make friends w/ the security guards at the venues, you might even have a friend who works as a stage-hand at the venue  |

They started at one place right after the show and I can't remember the name of that place and then they moved over to some other place called roseland or something like that so they could shoot pool and it not be so loud. |

my advice is just waiting around the gig venue. they have to go in and they have to come out.
also if your going to try and get to the barrier your going to be queing very early id expect. i use to que at their gigs, we'd get their 6 hours earlier and there would already be people waiting, and this was years ago!!!!
i met them by waiting around..we missed them going into the gig, but we stayed afterwards and they eventually came out of the venue.
not sure how easy it is to meet them these days like

Depends on the venue and the guys' schedule too, I'd say. If they have an early flight, they'll be gone before the fans are out again; some venues can have all busses inside, so you won't see what/when things are happening. Inside info would be best. |

God the many ways I have thought of meeting them.. I'm way to young to find them alone and I don't think my parents would want to help me meet them! So I guess I will have to wait till I'm older .. Sighhh by then caleb and jared might be married and I'll have no chance...

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT! woah thats crazy. and they were here in LA! and i could have possibly seen them, maybe just maybe! dammit  does anyone think its possible to go to the show the 22nd, try to sneak backstage, try to find an afterparty and meet them, all while being 15 and only a couple of hours away from hopping on a flight to Puerto Rico that very same night?  |
