Caleb's girlfriend is a model and on her statistics she is 5' 8.5" so you can see Caleb is probably only a couple of inches taller than her in pics (i.e. in sydney) in pics.

I saw the Kings live May 4th in St. Augustine Florida and I have one word.....WOW. I have to shared my experience with other kings lovers because it's too much to keep to myself. I am a new fan and I discovered them last year and I am going to be honest "Sex on Fire" drug me in but after that I started listening to all their old albums and I haven't been able to stop. Old music= way better. A friend and I went to go see them Monday and stood in the pit front row and here's the scoop; I saw Nacho first and he is all you expect..He looks exactly the same as he does in pictures. He has their same amazing blue eyes. He was setting up their equipment and was pretty focused on what he was doing but I did steal a couple of pictures. The opening band was "The Walkman" and their lead singer was M.I.A so the piano player had to sing a few of the songs from lyrics he scribbled on a piece of cardboard. I felt so bad for him because he was nervous as hell and his hands were shaking.  But out of the corner of my eye I see NATHAN and he was standing on the side of the stage with sunglasses on and his hair pulled back with a hat on. Honestly my first thought was OMG that's him and then it went to OMG he's soo skinny. But hot model skinny not food deprived skinny. So after a minute or so he goes back stage. Then the crowd and started to fill in more and the show begins SO here is the good stuff. All the lights and the amphitheater went out and I knew what was coming next...CRAWL...The lights blare on and out walks all four of them in their glory. Caleb put his guitar on and put his back to the crowd while pumping his arms in the air to get everyone to scream louder. I yelled so loud my abs hurt the next day. I am going to be frank....pictures don't even compare to seeing the real thing. In person they are all amazing attractive. I mean it's freakish how pretty they are. Caleb and Nathan both have weather blue eyes that are piercing. They are all super thin, frame wise. Caleb has the cutest ass and Nathan's arms are soo freaking toned. Jared is the prettiest, he has the face of a male fashion model. Matt looks so young because his face is more boyishly cute. Looking at them, I really couldn't imagine seeing them anywhere but a concert stage. I must say that I eyed Caleb first because I was standing in between him and Matthew because Jared's side was a mosh pit. Caleb was wearing a slightly opened button down and his chest was exposed. He is the shortest out of all of them. I would say about 5'7ish and Matt is right after him height wise, then Jared and Nathan is the tallest. Matt has a really cute smile and those dimples just make it all the better. He smoked the entire show and Nacho lit up his first cig. and took a puff and put it in his mouth for him. Jared was dressed in designer jeans that had rips in the knees. His hair isn't the same as the Rolling Stones cover and looks highlighted with blonde he fixed his hair in between the show, making sure it was in place. He performed with his back in the crowd 90% of the entire show. I only got pictures of his ass. Nathan chewed gum while he played and my friend was convinced that he made eye contact with her. I kept trying to tell her that she was reaching too high because I didn't think that they could see with the lights and all but I swear I had some pupil contact myself and I was a second her notion. I didn't see Caleb drink any alcohol the entire show. He took a few sips from water bottle that he threw into the crowd at the end of the show. He also threw his cloth napkin that he used to wipe his face throughout the show. They also threw a few guitar pics and Nathan threw his drum sticks. So there was plenty followill DNA in the air. The audience was so energetic and everyone practically begged for a encore. Caleb danced alot and Matt started ripping on a few of the songs. Caleb and Matt stayed on stage the longest and and were so freaking cool and Caleb talked alot to the audience and the crowd finished the last verse of "Be Somebody". Their live show was soooo much better than what's on youtube. Jared was the first off the stage both times and seemed to not be in it in my opinion. Caleb and Matt were the showmen of the night. The tour bus was really close to the back of the stage and security was being really ridiculous so it was nearly impossible to meet them unless you knew someone. I will say that there were four girls standing really close to the tour bus right after the show and they were not their girlfriends. I made sure I got a clear view they were very pretty and must of had some very generous friends to get them that close. I was going to stay and wait it out but I had a early class next morning and Caleb said that they would be coming back soon so hopefully next time I'll have better connections. I am so excited for the next album. My camera sucks but I took some pics that are nothing near the quality of other fans. But I uploaded a few I didn't take to many because I was too busy singing and dancing. Opening:        GO AND SEE THEM LIVE. thanks for your advice, tonkaberry! maybe i will go and see them live. also thanks for your pictures, i like them, and for your adventure in words. it was happen to be nearly the same story for me. i saw them last year in december, with the video of use somebody. after that i searched for more and found all albums, which i liked by first listen. earlier in time, maybe november, i have thought everytime, when reading kings or watching kings..., why can´t i keep them apart, all these names with kings and queens. at that time i knew only queens of the stone age and that there were some more bands name with queens and kings. so it started to get my attention slow and very interested to find out who these young man of that video are. i was surprised about me, not to find them earlier, but as everything comes on right time, it did it. aha...comes after because...haha.ok. i love the most songs, at different times to listen. never seen them in live. but i think i take your advice and will go see them live. somewhere in europe, someday. have a nice week. |

I love being tall though and wouldn't change it for the world. My friend who's about 5'9, met Caleb and he was a couple of inches taller than her.... And she had heels on. |
