yeah we heard SOMEthing new...almost seemed like it was just PART of a song though. Kinda weird. It turned into a sort of lead-in/opening to Black Thumbnail. But man it was awesome!!!!! It sounded so, so good The staff at that place were bitches man. They definitely put a damper on my experience Did anyone else try to meet them? The staff kept yelling at everyone to leave, it was really pissing me off (so I did leave) They also wouldn't let me get close to the stage after the show to try & snag a drumstick. Told me only the drummer throws drumsticks, and he was gone, so move along Have some karma chairlover for hearing the new song and seeing KOL again Stoopid staff not knowing what's up

I can't stop staring at your sig, montana....yummmm!!! Yeah they were in great form. Caleb was a lot more talkative than usual, though I couldn't understand half of what he was saying cause our seats were too far back (Ticketmaster's "best available seats" the SECOND they went on sale, grrr on sale, arghhhh ) At one point he said he was getting a little drunk, hehe.

Montana, your sig is phwoar-worthy and I bow down your skillage as that's the hawtest sig I've seen in a long time. Kkkkkkk...karma comin' your way as that made my day :-)
I feel very fortunate as I scored mosh pit tix for KOL in August through a presale that our local radio station was offering. I got the tix in February, but their popularity has skyrocketed since then, so don't think I'll ever be able to get that close again unless I go through a scalper.
Is it August yet!!!!

Oh they haven't played Trani in months...doubt they'll be bringing it back And I can gaurantee that you can get better seats if you don't use the "best available" option! Trust me on this! I don't know what's up with it, but it definitely doesn't show you the best seats available. With Red Rocks, I was at school when they went on sale so was afraid I wouldn't get GA tix. I came home and with the "best available" method I got something like Row 57! Then I selected GA from the drop-down menu and was brought right to it--several times actually. So yeah, just a little tip

chairlover...I tried to stay after too, security were a bunch of dicks. Oh well, what can we do??
I thought the show was good, I had a ton of fun, but not the best show I've seen. I do remember Caleb saying that they went out in Cincy, drank a lot of whiskey, and then went to this great placed called McDonalds. Hahaha.
I was surrounded by a bunch of people who didn't know any of the words, so that may have put a damper on it for me. Now they just need to make it back up to MI...

Sorry it took me so long.............. Last night in the car ride home we were trying to piece together the setlist as we remembered it. They played Everything from OBTN except Revelry (damn!), 17 and I want you. from BOTT they played Knocked up in the SECOND encore - yes they had TWO encores, On call, Charmer, Black thumbnail (I'm trying to remember all the songs - there were a LOT) They played Four Kicks, Red Morning light, SNSL, Devil Song in the encore, crap I know I'm forgetting a bunch of songs. It was an AWESOME setlist though. Strangest thing ever - they played Use Somebody twice!!!!!!!! Once during the show and once during one of the encores - hahahahaha I'd have to say (sadly) that this show was way better than MSG. The venue was gorgeous - it was open air but completely covered overhead (I hope that makes sense). It was the most beautiful evening ever. Clear skies, not too hot, but you definitely needed a light jacket. Luckily my BF and I are old and we think of things like this. When you entered the "pavilion" there were all these booths selling margaritas, Pina coladas, beer, pizza, pretzels, wine, ALL sorts of stuff. It was really cool, everyone was milling about (we got there early!) before the Walkmen went on. Holy crap they are such an awesome band. I'm definitely going to get a CD. Our seats were AWESOME. We were on the second tier, row C! So close. Caleb had on the sexiest vest - mmmmmmm (waistcoat). Jared seemed like he was in a decent mood - I really didn't watch him much but when I looked over he was facing the crowd. We sat by some really cool people and had so much fun. Caleb said "We're going to play something you guys have probably never heard before" - haha Sex on Fire ensued. He also thanked the "new" fans and recognized the "oldies" too. Yay! No, I know you'll be disappointed but we did NOT wait around for the band after. We're old. Bedtime. Here are some pictures: This is the venue: This is for you Kim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! INSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *must get new camera*

Wow, good clear shots though. Glad you had a nifty time. And I think it's safe to say that unless you were in the front GA pit, any gig was better than MSG.

Except for the bathroom problem. haha I forgot to tell you guys - the minute I walked in the door I called Sorrell to regale her with my heroic tale!
