well its not longer but its about the length it was last season (thats what it looks like from the promos anyway) and i just saw a different promo and looks like something bad is up with bobby. i dont know what (couldnt really tell since it was a promo and all) but now im kind of annoyed. if its something he cant recover from ( like him being a werewolf or some other creature) im gonna get really pissed, if its otherwise i guess i dont mind.

new season premiere is TOMARROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok while watching this episode i was in a constant state of WTF?!?!?!?!

alright lets start from the begining it really pissed me off
its bad enough that lisa is with dean, but does he have to be happy....really ....im sorry but its like they did a total personality swap on him. i mean i get that he has to change because of lisa and ben but that doesnt mean hes a completly different person. i mean i dont think he would have a bbq with the nieghbors, play golf or play poker with some dudes like a saburban dude whos whipped. in my mind hed be the guy that is dragged to all of those things by his wife/gf. and what was the deal of him not even acknowleging that he even had a brother when he was having a beer with his friend? that just pissed me off.

i like the new family (especially the silent blond dude.....hes sooooo hot!) hope to see more of them and YES SAMUEL IS BACK!!!! i loved him on x files (yes i watch x files....moulder=pure sex! ) but i mean what was that whole thing with them kindnapping the jin? are they gonna experement on it or something?or are they evil?

ok...so am i the only one who thinks lisa is on the edge of mental stability? i mean her taking in dean was really sudden in itself and when monsters that can kill people are chasing dean and can potentialy kill her son and herself included are you really gonna stay with the guy? really? i mean this is bigger than yourself......this is about your child.idk, i think i would put his saftey first and foremost

i like how sam let dean live his life. thats the one thing i totally understood. like he said dean got out and sure it wasnt perfect but it was the closest hed ever get to perfect.

no cas = me not too happy . you cant have an apocolypse and not even show the friggin ANGEL in the premier of the next season.thats just total shit

now its time for the random things
1-i like the new opening.my fav one was last years (thought the titel looking like blood was pretty cool) and this ones pretty cool too.at least its not as bad as seasons threes was
2-deans wardrobe made me lol.that jacket was HIDEOUS!!and him tucking in his shirt is just terrible...
3-sams new car is pretty cool.all new and shiny.i like how he didnt take deans car....it just wouldnt be right without him
4-nice seeing yellow eyes again. i loved the actor that played him cause he was just sooo evil. now if theyd just somehow bring back meg(or at least the actress,i thought she played a total bad ass bitch soo frigin well) and alastair (again, at least the actor cause he was super creepy and gave me chills with his evilness) and wed be golden as far as bringing back villans. but i doubt it since this season is all about creatures. oh well....a girl can dream........

ok so this ep wasnt as bad as i thougth it would be (even though certain parts royaly pissed me off.....they made up for it by bringing back samuel) so yeah not bad. and again....WTF is up with the preview for the next ep?are they seriously gonna introduce monster babbies?

^I agree with most of the things you said but in all honesty, I thought the episode was absolutely awful. Just terrible one of the worst season openings, if not one of the worst episodes in general. It was boring, the pacing was awful, the new Campbells were annoying (though I thought the girl cousin was alright for some reason) and really, to me it just didn't feel like I was watching Supernatural.

I actually liked Lisa in this episode, which is something I never thought I'd say hahah, and Idk why but I love that the kid is the same kid that played Ben in season three, he's just all grown up now .

The title card was reeeeeally cool, maybe one of my faves.

This episode just felt like it was missing something though, can't think what... oh wait yes I can..
WHERE WAS CASTIEL?
That fierce angel needs to be in every episode, and he's not even gonna be back 'till episode 3?!! What is this fuckery.

Anyway I just hope the season improves, I'll probably watch it 'till the end since this is probably the last season but ugghh I don't want to be yawning throughout each episode like I was with this one.

I totally agree with both of you, this was the worst season premiere and one of the worst episodes of them all! WTF doesn't even do it justice. And every single person I was watching it with said the same thing. Ok so it wasn't as bad as Bugs, but for a season premiere, they should have tried harder.

I liked how it started, showing bits of the past and present, but I agree with you girls that Dean wouldn't have changed that much, even down to his clothes and his hair.

But then we got thrown too quickly into chaos that was confusing and felt forced. I do NOT like this new family, I didn't like how casual Sam & Dean's reunion was, and I don't understand why Samuel is not 80 years old like he should be.

Next week's episode looks totally lame, too!!

Literally just finished watching this season premiere, and i'm glad to see i'm not the only one having mixed feelings about it. Don't get me wrong i'm sooo glad its back, its one of my favourite shows, but it just felt wrong. Something was missing, and not just Castiel. I think we need Kripke back at the wheel.

Mentioning wheels, NO IMPALA!! Wtf?! Seriously, Dean couldn't just get it out for five minutes. That car was always his baby and this is how he treats her now. Tut tut Dean. He even tried to give her away, fair enough it was to Sam but thats a big no no.

I agree with everyone here about Dean being too different. But i'm gonna put it down to him being in a sort of purgatory. He's not the hunter he once was but he's not completely non-hunter now either. I mean, he still had his gun under the bed and holy water. He's in-between, like Castiel was when he lost his powers. Hopefully, he'll find his way soon and we'll get our cheeky charmer back. Lets face it, thats what we all want to see, right?

Sam seemed different too. More confident maybe. Going to be interesting to see how hell had an affect on him because it surely had to.

Don't like the new family members. Sorry but i prefer it just being Sam and Dean. Don't like the idea of there being a team or whatever. Bobby being the exception. That man can be in every episode for all i care. I love him. haha. That goes for Castiel too. But not convinced these new found Campbells can be trusted. Actually, not sure anyone can be. Everyone seemed too desperate to get Dean back into hunting. I just find that suspicious.

All in all, a mindboggling episode i think. haha. Probably have more questions now about what is happening than before. But i'm sure they'll all get answered as the season progresses, as i'm sure the show will improve and return its previous awesomeness

totally agree with you about this being the worst season premiere. i mean it shouldve been awesome and it was just crappy. i didnt really have high expectations for it(cause i knew i was gonna hate this season from the start)so i wasnt as nearly dissapointed i guess but still, i think it shouldve been better.

and we totally agree about the whole sam and dean reuniting thing. i mean they blew over it so fast like it was nothing and that was complete and utter bullshit.you havent seen your brother (whos been your lifeline up until now) in a whole year and you arent holding back tears?you arent falling apart at the seams?and especially from deans point of view he shouldve been in shambles.i mean hell when dean came back from hell was a better reunion than that crap.i was just really dissapointed

and i dont even know what the point was of bringing samuel back, dont get me wrong...the dude playing him is awesome but whats the point?if hes back then i want to see john back too. i mean his presence would have a much bigger effect on the boys (and plus jeffery dean morgan is great)

yeah i hope it improves.but since the finale of season 5 ive been worried (cause that TOTALLY SUCKED as far as finalies go)

finally got to watch the new episode and I was really sad. I know this is going to be their last season...but come on! They could have done a way better job then they did. I'm going to be so sad when they are done with this show...even if I did come into it late.

I'm glad they showed Bobby. I really began to like him after last season (not that I never DIDN'T like him), but liked him a little more. He always cracks me up.

And what is up with their grandpa? I didn't like how they took off with that woman without tellin the boys. Are they going to torcher her? Are they really bad hunters? So many questions! lol.

I guess we will have to wait and see how this season goes...

I think theres been talk of a possible 7th season. Can't remember where i saw that though. I definitely wouldn't mind there being another season as long as its a good storyline. I mean, it'd mean more of the boys

A 7th season?! Wow. I hope it gets better though, sometimes I feel like I'm watching it just because I've already invested so much time, even though I'm disappointed more often than not lately!

And I feel like an idiot but I watched it a 2nd time and I heard Samuel say he was pulled down meaning he died and was in heaven (I just forgot whatever happened to him). Watching it a 2nd time it makes a little more sense what was going on even though we don't know the why or the who but at least we know Samuel & Co. are trying to keep a secret from the boys. I am boggling my brain to figure out why, there are infinite possibilities. I just wish they would quit sending people to hell and bringing them back, it isn't even a bad thing anymore! I think they've gone as far as they can go as far as bad things happening to them so I really don't know where they can go from here.

And Ciara, yes Lisa did look orange!!

I loved Supernatural tonight! It gave me that of them from back in the early seasons. Dean (as always) had be cracking up! I love Jensen, seriously I do. haha.

ok so this episode wasnt that much of an inprovement to from the last one imo.it wasnt nearly as bad i dont think (since the last one was a premeire)but yeah not that impressed.

i was happy to see dean kind of missing being a hunter.thats something that i thougth the premeire totally missed was him fighting the urge to hunt cause i mean you just cant turn it off you know?its a mentality that you live in.

i was glad to see dean helping out sam with the shape shifter (even though it kind of irritated me that he didnt even drive his car when he was on the job but whatever.....ill take what i can get)

ok so i dont like the whole shifter mythology at all.i thought they were supposed to be hideous creatures and i didnt think they were born into it (cause im pretty sure i remember a shifter talking about his father beating him for being a freak of nature or something like that....anyone else remember that?)i thought it was more along the lines of just a random occurance in a normal family or something idk,i guess i was just hoping for something better than what we got.

ok so i totally hate the 'family'(samuel included)im over it.especially after they killed off the hot one im done with them all.and i dont like what theyre up to,i have a feeling that its not benificial to the boys at all.also they irritated me when they just expected dean to trust them.i mean sure youre blood but blood doesnt mean anything.he just met you and you expect him to just trust you?

ok seriously sam NEEDS TO CUT HIS DAMN HAIR!!!it looks like shit.

i still hate orangelisa with a passion but i hate her just a smidge less after this ep(and thats a very VERY small smidge)cause she told dean what he needed to hear and got him out on the road hunting again which is where he belongs.

end scenes were cool.its about damn time.

overall, yet another dissapointing shit episode.....im seriously irritated at this point.but i do see some glimers of hope one of them being dean getting away from lisa (hopefully that will be made permanent fairly quickly)and oh yeah probably the biggest one......

Oh Dean, looking more like his former self....makes me so happy There was no tucked in shirt and his hair was back to normal. I agree it was nice to see him missing hunting. Its all he's ever known so it'd be weird in a way if he was ok not doing it anymore. Some of his old personality started to peek through too.

Loved the little comedic elements such as in the supermarket. Made me laugh how Dean picked up the crying baby. Although later on when he was getting the baby to sleep in the motel i couldn't help but 'awww' at him. How frickin' adorable was that?!

I'm guessing there must be a number of ways shapeshifters are created. One must be the whole faulty gene thing and the other must be this new suggestion of an Alpha, who goes around sleeping with women simply to reproduce. Creepy when you thinking about it. A human sleeping with a demon....its Sam & Ruby all over again, in a toned down kind of way.

I still dislike the new family members, although one has been killed off.....already?! Maybe its because we're not seeing them enough to get to know them, but i think its mostly because i miss seeing just Sam and Dean hit the road. Samuel is definitely upto something, and i wouldn't trust him or the other new Campbells as far as i could throw them. I mean, who was he talking to on the phone?! Suppose we'll find out sooner or later. And why is Sam finding it so easy to trust them? Is it just me or has he changed? He just seems different. Something must be going on.

Can't decide if i like Lisa or not. I think my main reason for not liking her would be because she has Dean. haha. Thats not really enough reason to dislike her. I don't think Dean has ever truly been in love with her, he just wanted a family and a 'normal' life. Poor guy can't even get that though. Not so sure shes in love with Dean either. I think she just wants to give him what he wants and have a full family herself. Using each other, so to speak.

No Bobby or Castiel

On the brightside, it looks like the impala may be back in action........WOOOHOOO!! FINALLY!! I know its only been a couple of episodes without it but its been missed. Who'd have thought the metallicar would be such a central character?! Wonder if Sam will ditch his car and go back to being shotgun like the good ole days. ha

All in all, a better episode but i'm sure the best is still yet to come

OMG Ciara! I am shocked! You are seriously the first person I've seen that didn't love this episode! I thought it was better than most of the last season!

I was laughing so hard during the store scene! Sam & Dean taking care of a crying baby in a grocery store, classic!! That was some much needed comedy, that I hope they get back to this season.

I seriously thought the entire Campbell family were all shapeshifters, it would have explained why they were all acting wierd with Dean. There is something going on though cuz Dean is still suspicious and they wouldn't be making a big deal of it if things were ok. Dean's instincts are usually right. I have a friend who thought Samuel was maybe talking to the Devil on the phone... yeah right like the Devil would have a phone!! He's probably talking to a demon, or...an angel? Maybe he was talking to Cas!? *ponders* He's gotta tie in to this new story somehow! That would certainly be a twist!

MissAddicted...I love how the Impala is so important to fans, well it was practically made into a character from the very beginning, and Dean loves her so much so we naturally do too!

And I LOVE Sam's hair longer!!!
