I've noticed a few of the music TV stations here playing a clip of Manhattan the last week or so. Its a live performance but done in a studio. Is it a new single?? Why are they all playing it??

it's been played so much in australia.
first only on triple j, but now on all the commercial radio stations too.
i acually heard manhattan on the radio before revelry.
i even had a conversation with my dad about how he thinks manhattan is the next single, etc.
but i don't knowww.

Yeah, I'm in Aus too  I don't really listen to the radio so very interesting Annie....especially after all the talk about Revelry being a single. Interesting interesting interesting |

oh cool haha. well yeah, i don't listen to that radio that much, but manhattan is played alot, from what i've heard. i'd like it to be a single. but then again, i'd rather just keep it to us, people who actually listen to KOL. |

Manhattan is actually being played on channel [V].. ..and thats the video they keep playin!..it was number 2 last week on the most requested songs! im gettin really confused! maybe thats why there hasnt been a video for revelry  |

well i'm 15, so most people probably think i fit into that catergory, but nooooo.
not meee.
but yes, most of my friends who know nothing except from the obvious, sex on fire/use somebody, now also know revelry, which is fine by me.
but now that some of them know manhattan it's like... gah. noooo.

Nah Annie, being a teeny bopper isn't about age.....its about saying you LURVE KOL and Britney Spears in the same sentence Not that I really care hey, each to their own and all that I'm happy the guys have new fans. I'm probably a bit more precious about Revelry than I am Manhattan, but happy to see some new footage of the guys doing anything!! |

hahaahaha, too true. well i'm glad to say i'm definitely not a teeny bopper. i dunnnnno, i prefer manhattan, so i guess i'm more like...protective over that. ahha but either way, i don't mind. i'm surprised that they would actually release something now it's been like 6 months since only by the night was released.. can you belive that? wow. |

They play a few clips and do like a Q & A thing underneath?? But the original clip recording might be from that Channel V 'Only by the Night' for the fans kinda things they did pre-tour. Gahhh...now I'm confusing myself!! |

As far as I know it hasnt been released as a single but by the looks of things it should have been released instead of revelry!!!

i listen to the radio HEAPS and they played manhattan before revelry. then they released revelry. but they still play manhattan here and there. ive never seen in played on TV though.

Before the release of Revelry I kept hearing Manhattan on the radio over here too.
That video for Manhattan was on a 4 Music special thing here, and on the OBTN tour edition.
Weird.

i think it must be? or sometimes bands don't release a single but radios play it and if people like it enough and request it enough then it kind of becomes a single yeah the vid is from the english show e4 which channel v used in their KOL special, and its on the OBTN special edition, sorry just thought id repeate what everyone already knows  |

on channel v this arvo, they played it at number 25 in the "most essential hits of the week" and they played that t4 clip.
maybe it is a single.

yeah, they also played it in "KOL artist special" on channel v.
they could have played the charmer clip, or four kicks, or king of the rodeo, or red morning light, but they played the t4 manhattan video.
weeeeird.
