I've always wanted to go to Poland.... But I seriously cannot afford anything, especially as I'm unemployed. I'll end up running my parents into the ground

Thanks chicken. Do you know what price the tickets are and also where the festival is. What airport would I have to fly to?

Only 55? My, my this is sounding more appealing by the minute. A three day Oxegen ticket is almost 300. However it is the week before Oxegen so don't know if I can afford it or take the time off work but am definately thinking about it!

Yeah I could probably go to Poland rather than Oxegen, I think I'd rather go to Oxegen though. But £55 is so amazing!

Just been talking to a friend and she says if we can do it on the cheap she will come with me. However I've just checked Ryanair and they don't fly to that city. Margaret do you know if any of the other Ryanair Polish destinations are near to Gdynia? I could possibly get a train to the city then. Otherwise ebookers is charging a fortune. Trying to make me pay E400 plus to fly Luftansa to Frankfurt first and then on to Gdynia.
EDIT: Just did some research. The nearest Ryanair airport appears to be Gdañsk. Would it be difficult to get from Gdañsk to the festival?

I'm wondering what's best now....really want to do Oxegen for the atmos and the meeting the Irish and the other HAers n stuff.... ACK!!!!
Even a one day Oxegen ticket would be about £80...then ferry from me ma's would be £50...then train/bus/whatever to Punchestown....hmmm...*ponders*
Might just fly in and hire a car - could give y'all a lift then!!!
*skips off to the Oxegen thread*

Same here, I'd love to go to Poland and stuff though. It'd be hard to find a friend to go there but I have someone who wants to go to Oxegen so I'm thinking I'll stick to that. No harm in asking around and tryin to do both though...

No harm in asking around and tryin to do both though... Yea exactly. Flights from dublin are only E123 return, the three day camping is only E55. I could so afford that plus Poland would be really cheap when you get there. Home and then off to Oxegen. KOL twice in one week = heaven And Sarah if there are a few of us going there would be no need to bring a friend - just the HA'ers off on another little globe trotting expedition
