I saw them open for U2 in April of 2005, but wasn't into them back then.
*kicks self for good measure*
I rediscovered them about a year ago and have never been in this much love with a band before in my entire life!!

Charleston, SC, October of 2005. They played a relatively small venue downtown just two blocks from me. It was my first concert/show ever (late music bloomer) and it was amazing. I wish I knew more about them at the time because I would have stayed after to meet them. Two people who lived in my same building actually hung out with them at the bar and their bus afterwards. I hate them. I get to see them again, finally!!! I'm so freaking excited I can't stand it. Three months and counting!

I was never a massive fan of Molly's Chambers when it came out, and didn't show much interest in YAYM. But when Aha Shake was released i loved it and they grew on me loads. Then i took more of a notice of YAYM. When BOTT was released i was absolutely hooked. Obsessed even. And I literally listened to BOTT every day religiously until OBTN came out.
But the first time i saw them was on the BOTT tour in 2007.

Mine was December 2003 in the Olympia. Great gig. Ben Kweller supported too so that was cool. I dragged my brother with me to see them, in return I got dragged to Damien Rice, who I ended up really liking so it was win win for me.
