A bit of tension in this thread I see. I'll say this it is a horrible and sick situation that Miley is in. She may have alot of money but the fact that her father and her management are putting her through so much and exploiting her at such a young age is wrong. So yes Hamchop I see your point.
However I still can't stand her music or her acting skills. Maybe she is a nice person. I don't doubt that for a second. She's just not my thing.

Umm...just to clarify; I have never heard Miley Cyrus sing or seen her on TV - she is half my age and I have no opinion on her whatsoever  . I just think the fact that Rolling Stone are reporting that she fancies Jared and Katy Perry was warning her about the Kings' hot girlfriends is a funny illustration of how KOL's celeb status is rapidly escalating in America!  |

after all that has been said about miley... like her or not.. she is still young and when you're young you easily develop a crush on some celebrity or what not and then... because you're young.. you move on!! i think bornagirl (sorry idk your name  ) is right.. the rolling stone article does highlight the fact that KoL's star is getting brighter in the US so much so that these cemented celebrities (LIKE THEM OR NOT) are finally noticing them as their peers.. plus.. alisa's gorgeous.. she has nothing to worry about  |

after all this is a KOL forum, so we should discuss how this media attention affects KOL!
Miley probably doesn't remember who she was talking about last night.
She prob saw a million boys she thought were cute cause, let's face it, we're all a little boy-crazy at the age of 16!
and she's right, Jared-boy looked mighty fine last nite...

But I am very shocked at all the comments that were made about her just because she thinks he's good looking! What's the problem? Just to play devil's advocate I don't see why everyone thinks she's such a bad person and in a bad situation. She wants to be a performer, it's not her dad pimping out. And with the whole posing for vanity fair thing, she's a teenager who wanted that picture taken, it wasn't the best decision but who cares, Britney Spears was wearing the school girl outfit and pimping herself out as whore when she was 16, so Miley is atleast on the right track. I don't really care for her because I don't watch Disney but the media is trying to make her have a break down by how much coverage they give her. |

ugh little miley has always gotten on my nerves. the combination of her cocky attitude and manly voice makes me want to grab a fly swatter and hit her on the head over and over again. i assume since she's dating a 20 (or 21?) year old, she thinks any man can be hers. this little girl needs a reality check. i'm sick of hearing about her in the news all the damn time. *sighs* thats all |

tbh I am feeling a bit sorry I posted in this thread. I WAS just seeing the funny side of what after all is a piece of journalist's guff. Now I'm getting uncomfortable because of some of the truly unkind comments being directed at this girl, by a few people. Fair enough if she is not your cup of tea, but why condemn her personally? Who here is perfect?? Certainly not me. And to be absolutely clear - I did not know anything about her, and still know next to nothing - but I cannot think she deserves some of what's said in this thread. |
