Edit: On Call Cold Desert Use Somebody Slow Night, So Long EncoreCloser Knocked Up Manhattan The Devil Song Black Thumbnail ok for some odd reason every time i tweet On Call i get a message back from twitter and it never gets posted.. but yea.. on call was also played last night!! as for my little review.. cass and i drove down from new york to philly... all was well until we hit bumper to bumper traffic on the new jersey turnpike and were held back an extra hour and a half in the scorching sun!! we eventually made it there with the help of our friend "Clifford" (a big red truck driven by a huge dude) and we managed to elude a very perverted truck driver dude that kept checking us out.. not fun but it provided us with a laugh.. we finally got to the venue a little bit before 5 and we ended up circling the numerous complexes looking for a parking spot...we ended up parking at a lot across the street from the venue... we then "relieve" ourselves and i had to do a little outfit change into shorts and a loose top to help combat the heat all while listening to some KoL of course!... we call up jasmine who has already been in line for 2 or so hours with michelle and her friend (sorry dear i forgot your name)... we brought them some ice cold waters and iced tea so that they wouldn't lose their place in line... cass, jas and i then return to our cars and meet up with notfrank and his friends and tailgated for 2 hours or so...drinking beers, listening to music, making up drinking games and enjoying the beautiful weather and getting ready for the show!! needless to say by the time the show started we all had a pretty good buzz!! jas and i head into the venue first and cassie and my friend cully (who took jen's ticket because our dear jen was sick and could not make it!!) then follow.. The Walkmen are currently playing and their music was very soothing.. cass then starts flipping out because she doesn't have her camera and i did not have it.. she ended up having to go back to her car twice before finding it in our friend's bag.. now our friend was ridiculously wasted.. that's what drinking whiskey straight up and mixing it with beers does to you i guess.. at one point before KoL goes on she leaves to go throw up in the bathroom.. she ended up leaving the arena and couldn't get back into the venue.. so now it's just me, jas and cass all waiting for KoL to come on and trying to figure out what to do about our friend.. btw our seats were amazing and we saw everything perfectly!! all of a sudden jas says "OMG it's jessie!" i look up and she's standing in our section looking around.. i tell jas to ask her if we could take a pic with her but she was chickening out and so i decided to stand up and ask jessie if we could have a pic with her...she was a complete sweetheart and said of course and we had some small talk.. she looked very pretty in a blue dress and was very nice.. she sat a few rows behind us with some people she knew.. but she was very precious! 5-10 min or so later the show started and all hell broke lose!! the crowd went wild and everyone was out of their seats just ready to rock out with the boys.. this continued for every song of the setlist.. girls were in aisles dancing and or falling (these two chicks were soooo wasted..it was funny) caleb made comments as to how he didn't realize that the venue was so big and thanked the crowd for coming out.. he also stated how it was great to see the american crowd finally catching on, which got a huge applause.. overall it was evident that the boys were having a great time.. jared actually looked like he was really having fun up there and nathan was nothing but perfection!! after the show ended we left because i was very worried about my friend.. we go back to cassie's car and as we were leaving the parking lot this dude was taking a piss near his car.. cassie and i being the classy gals we are start yelling obscenities out the window.. needless to say his manhood was out for the whole world to see.. i know jas loved seeing that!! i make cassie take a whole lap around the complex looking for my friend.. no luck the first time.. i'm so determined to find my friend who had no money, no bag, no phone on her at this time.. the second time around we decide to pull into one of the gates and miraculously find her sitting on a bench.. how in the world we found her we don't know.. at this time we drop off jas.. she later said that they saw matt and he waved to them and thanked michelle for coming to the show which was very cute!! cass and i drive our very drunk friend who is, at this point, passed out in the backseat.. thank goodness for GPS systems.. we get to her place.. cass and i didnt want to call it a night so we just dropped her off and told us to call her when we came back so we could crash at her place..after a trip to dunkin donuts cass and i end up at a pub 2 blocks away from our friend's apartment.. we stay there until about 2 in the morning and we meet this very nice guy who cassie hit it off with.. i was so tired and for the most part just sat there watching tv and eavesdropped on their convos once in a while.. when we left we tried to call our friend who didn't pick up at all.. we then ended up staying at the guy from the bar's house that night.. he let us sleep in his bed.. he was very nice for housing two strangers!! haha... well our journey ended at an IHOP and a long drive back to new york... i have no pictures to post yet because my memory card is currently MIA.. i'll try to look for it again..hopefully i didn't leave it in cassie's car!! anywhoo.. this was a long review but i cannot wait to see KoL again, meet more HAers and have more random adventures/experiences.. after all..isn't that what life is all about!?!!?!?! love you all  |

Great reviews! Really sweet about Jessie just sitting out in the crowd! What did you talk about with her? Everytime I hear about fans meeting her they say she is very nice! Would you mind posting that picture, or any other pictures you took  |

I think Jessie is awesome I have her album her voice is so soothing and lovely. She is a talented one thats for sure.
What did she say? I sometimes wonder if it would be weird to see the shows so many times, being on of the guys' gf's. I mean I wouldn't complain about having to see them so often haha but you know what I mean.
She probably looks at it in a whole different way than us fans do.

haha.. mostly cassie but i always find myself going for a ride just to make sure she stays alive.. it's a hard life i lead..trying to make sure my life and her life stay somewhat on track.. cassie referred to me as her life manager to everyone she met last night!!
umm.. we just talked to jessie about the show, her dress and the weather.. you know, very small talk.. nothing elaborate.. but she was very pleasant and approachable

So... the show ends, I'm exhausted, and I stay in my seat (which, is right next to the stage because I snuck my way down from the highest level). Nacho's working, a few girls in front of me scream his name in unison but he doesn't look up. They leave, and so does everyone else. that was me, arlyn, and jas!!!! haha and arlynie i think you totally forgot about a crucial part of the evenin...the "love connection" between me and a fellow HAer..ayooo..whatta cutie and the guy from the bar..SO COOL!!..and cute ..talk about randomness..im just glad we didnt end up sleepin in my car like the original back up plan.. oh and another little tidbit..on my way to NY from Boston yesterday..i got totally lost because i wasnt quite payin attention (i blame the fact that i was headbangin to KoL the whole time)..but yea i ended like 50 miles north in like the boonies of NY..when i finally got back on track..i ended up passin Harriman State Park (where the Rolling Stone photo shoot was..)..i squealed and reached out my hand and tried to grab the park..if that makes any sense lol the show was fantabulous..i was a sweaty beast by the end of it and i totally didnt care..my calves are soooo unbelievably sore right now..arlyn did a great job of summing up the night!! jus gotta say..what really makes these shows SO AMAZING is meeting ll you wonderful, lovely HAers..you guys make my liiife..cant wait for Arizona  |

oh and arlyn you forgot about Alan..the EMS guy i hit on at the gig!!!! i was battin my eyes at him the whole evening..i kept on runnin into him because of my numerous runs between my car and my seats..after the gig i saw him on the floor and motioned for him to walk on up and talk to me..AND HE DID!!..i asked if he could snag me a set list but he said that he wasnt allowed to really interact with the band or security unless someone gets hurt..then i pretended to be hurt..he didnt find it too amusing lol..i asked him if he was headin out to the bars later with his EMS buddies..he said how they usually jus head back home afterwards..LAME..then we parted ways..i honestly think i need to get my hormones in check..as i told jas yesteday "i basically hit on anythin that castes a shadow"
oh and i totally tried to mingle with everyone in the parking lot..someone was playing "Poker Face" by Lady GaGa and i shimmied my way over to them and chatted it up..apparently the guy i talked to was in the marines..HOTTIE with a BODY!! oww owwww...i proceeded to tell him how i wanted to go into the air force and bomb shit..classy..i know
