Have you heard this? (album news)

Ladies and gentlemen, tonight's the night!

In just a few hours the Kings of Leon will headline a totally sold-out gig at the world's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden.

Yesterday, three of the Kings -- Jared, Nathan and Caleb -- got a whiff of the Garden when they watched the Knicks outlast the Hawks, 112-104, from their courtside seats.

We happened to be at the game, too, and afterwards we met the boys at the bar of their Midtown hotel, where we drank into the wee hours.

We wouldn't mention it, though, unless Nathan hadn't told us two very interesting bits of news:

One, he says to look out for an album of remixes of Kings tunes.

Two, he told us about the Kings next studio record, which they hope to start in November. "It's a straight gospel album," he said.

I think the "gospel" album is Nate just being cheeky
I am guessing the remix album has some truth to it Cause of the whole Justin Timberlake remix of 'use Somebody'.

Dunno how I feel about JT involving his 'sound' with the Kings.

They did, but I don't think they were serious.



We've already heard stuff from them on this album, and they've said that it's more "rocking"...so can't see how it's gospel also!

glad to hear the guys are up to their teasing tricks again. they've often said they love writing more than anything in the world, so i look forward to it. on another note, instead of a remixes album, who hear would like an acoustic album or 2nd disc on a new album?

yeah its acoustic. i've just been thinking lately, id like to hear maybe and brace yourself, matt sing a song? im sure he's written stuff, any guitarist would and i know caleb's got tonnes in his locker most likely (no sexual innuendo this time i promise)

Oh yes Matt singing a song would be wonderful! And not for the obvious reason you think you can hear a tiny snippet of his voice in the MTV hotel vid and it does sound lovely.
