It's a question of cool. I think it's like when your younger you're more layed back with music and it's much more about dancing and the 'popstar' image? And then when you hit a certain age it's more about being cool and suddenly the pop music scene is a bit cheesey and childish. A boy in my year who is seventeen was found to have The Jonas brothers on his ipod and most of the other boys in the year have teased him about it ever since. Maybe they're scared they might like it I posted earlier saying it will suck if we have all these teenybopper screaming girls at KOL shows now,so i'm thinking i probably pissed off someone now,i didn't realize there were any JoBro fans in here,so i'm sorry if I offended anyone,i was just under the assumption that everyone picked on them,or picked on people for liking them. I do give them credit for actually playing their own instruments and actually singing (i'm sure that is questionable,to some LOL),so,i can respect that people like them. Now i feel bad for being so harsh in my other post!  I don't think you were harsh at all, that shitheap of a collaboration they did was an insult to Stevie. The Jonas Brothers did not deserve to be given a spot on that stage. And frankly if that offends anyone, I don't care. It's an opinion. THey may be nice blokes but their performance sucked arse. ^^^And thanks Han, have one back....I went off on one a bit didn't I??  |

Jebus, glad to see this thread is back on track!!!! Here's a pic of me and my little sign...this was as close as I could get to the red carpet so I could only hope someone would see it and appreciate it...actually, everyone who asked to see my sign said "oh, Kings of Leon, I love that song they do" (meaning SOF). And yes, this picture was taken by a girl who was there to see the Jonas Bros.! (But alas, she was out of luck that day).  And I couldn't help but wonder what would have gone through the guy's heads if they had seen this thing, which was right at the entrance to the street (the red carpet tent was at the end)!  (Hint: Look at the lettering on the front - it may remind you of their favorite BCS-title losing college football team).  Karma for sure!!! Well done Its such a shame u couldnt get closer, at least u were spreading the word!! Even if the guys didnt see it themselves maybe someone who knows them did and told them about it, Im sure if they knew they'd appreciate it!!!! ahhh i know!!!!! i can't believe there was not ONE glimpse of our leading men..it's ridiculous and coldplay for best dressed nominee??!?!...has the whole world gone mad? Just watched the red carpet again on E, just notice their cousin Jerrod behind them, and in the background there is a lady in a red dress ( watching them) is that Betty ann, Caleb turns and I "m sure he smiles at her,

Just watched the red carpet again on E, just notice their cousin Jerrod behind them, and in the background there is a lady in a red dress ( watching them) is that Betty ann, Caleb turns and I "m sure he smiles at her, How would one pronounce the name Jerrod? Sorry I know it's a little off topic but out of curiosity. Is it the same as Jared? |

Their award was announced during the pre tele cast thingy and at that stage the boys were on route to the red carpet. Some 90 or so awards were announced before the actual televised show was aired.
