I was on the train home from Meadowhall yesterday and a girl sat in front of me has Use Somebody as her ring tone.
Do hear Sex On Fire a bit out, but I always air bass to it, which can be embarrassing for the people with me!

I went to best buy and I saw some kid buying the BOTT vinyl record and the lady at the checkout started talking about how she just learned how to play Sex on Fire on the bass or something.

This is kinda different but I always find it weird when, just in a normal situation, someone says the name of a KOL song, or a lyric, but in usual conversation. Like when my math teacher pointed to one of my friend's hands and said "Black Thumbnail", and I was like turns out she had black nail varnish on and you're not allowed but I still found it really weird, I don;t know why...

I just remembered that I also play KOL in my work! I work in the Music and Video section in Asda ...so normally they only have OBTN but recently the first 3 have been in on a promo type of thing so the past few shifts I've played all 4 in order. If they ever don't have KOL cd's in, I bring in the Live At Hammersmith cd and blast it. ONLY good point about my job.

On the last day of school there was a band playing on the oval during lunch. Coincidently the principle walked past them as they were playing Sex on Fire

oh well...i actually haven't heard them when i went out or something...but sometimes i hear it on the radio...and to be honest...i hate when that happens (hey, lyric quote here ). it might sound stupid but i'm one of those guys who still wants to keep them as their pocket band...and it just makes me feel angry when i hear them right after britney spears and before linkin park on the radio. i don't like that, and i guess i'll never get used to it. mmmh, whatever

I live in the USA and I've only heard them on the radio TWICE. I got very excited both times.
(See boys, it's not that America doesn't love you.....it's just that no ones heard of you because you get ZERO radio play here in the states. This is not our fault - it's your record companies fault. Blame the appropriate people.)

Use Somebody was playing on the radio when I went to the dentist this morning. So that made the experience a whole lot nicer.

There's a program on TV now and the person who edited must love KOL. They've had Use somebody, closer and sex on fire playing so far.
