Suspect that they were kidding. And if they didnt, they would have re-named it or didnt put it on the album. They'd never be that obvious with a song's name. I mean these are the people who named their songs Ragoo, Trani and Rememo.

You know, I was really listening to this the other day and if I hadn't heard otherwise from the horse's mouth I'd say that this song was about one of the band members from the point of view of one of their family members. Maybe someone close to them, like a parent. I was just imagining maybe Caleb taking some of the lyrics verbatim from a lecture he got from his mom or something. The only one that didn't really fit was the "I hate you sometimes" bit. Anywho, amazing song.
