[didn't know whether to stick this in 'randomness' or 'music' since it's random but music related, but anywho] This morning I was walking to class and my usual route cuts through a parking garage, and some girl was in her car playing 'sex on fire' and it was echoing off the concrete and it put the biggest smile on my face. as soon as i heard the first two seconds of the song, my head spun around and i was like 'yay!' her window was down, clearly, and i almost yelled at her 'I LOVE THAT BAND!!!' but quickly realized i was jacked up on caffeine and continued on my way, with a smile plastered across my face.  I NEVER hear anyone else playing KOL in cars or anything, and this made me really happy. I for one blast the music with my windows down, hoping someone will hear their awesomeness. |

The DJ at my favourite bar always play at least 3 KOL songs in a row whenever I enter the place It's been going on for almost 4 years now, but after the Only By The Night release, loads of people suddenly nod along to everything Kings of Leon... I'm still figuring out whether I think it's a good thing or not, though... who's with me??? |

I'm trying to figure out how I feel about that also  I mean I guess the more the merrier. i totally do this. even when its cold out, hoping it will change someones day. I KNOW, I always do it in hopes of turning some people on to them. I picture them going 'hey, that's a pretty cool song!' and remembering part of the lyrics to look up  |

I haven't took YAYM out of my car for weeks lol, its good to play with the windows down. I think it probably confuses people a little though.
When I go out the DJ will ONLY play sex on fire even though I ask him every week to play something else. He WILL give in one day, I'll make sure. I have a feeling that if he does then he will play fans haha, but nothing else.

ha i do that too. blast one of their songs in my car so someone else can hear it and wonder who it was cuz it was so awesome
i was walkin to class one day last year and i heard razz being played by a car that drove by and i was shocked and it brightened my day

Haha, I think I brighten everyone's (well, anyone waiting to cross the steet anyway) day by having any KOL song on full volume, even with the car windows shut!! My car just buzzes some muffled bassline, so I guess nobody hears the music, but I like to think they do!
