To everyone who's going tonight, have a BRILL time. And tell us all about it as soon as you can. Thursday can't come quick enough for me. I don't remember being this impatient the last time I saw them.

Deadly serious - Caleb said they were going to try something different for this tour and they would be playing some songs they hadn't played for a long time. He then invited the crowd to sing along because 'Y'all probably know it better than we do!' - then they went into Joe's Head!
All I need now is for them to play Happy Alone!

So did they play mostly older songs? What did they play from OBTN?
In a way I want to know but in a way I want to be surprised on thursday. Go on, tell me...

It was a vastly improved show from the last Brighton one and the crowd were very receptive and loud (which Caleb commented on - "I forgot how loud you guys are"). The crowd went nuts for Sex on Fire and all the boys seemed to be in a good mood (although poor Matt seemed to have sound problems throughout the show and was constantly talking to Nacho to try and sort it out!). Caleb was quite talkative (well for him anyway!) and thanked the crowd for making this the best year of their lives which was nice.
I am VERY excited about the introduction of some oldies - I think this is fantastic as it shows they are willing to mix it up a bit which I have been patiently waiting for them to do.
Caleb commented that Trani was an oldie that had been put back into the setlist after the US tour as there had been some complaints that it was missing - seems like the boys are listening to what the fans have to say which is also a great step forward for them.
All in all I was quite impressed with the performance and I look forward to the Glasgow show on the weekend!
I have some photos but it will be a couple of days until they are up.
