Matt: Smelled like booze and cigarettes. So hot. Right before i got a picture with him he fixed his hair like a girllllll which i thought was adorable. matt asked me: "why arent you figure out that this is the time to FILM us... when we look bad and are acting stupid" ohh no my darling matt. What I Remember: Caleb came out first and said "You guys look cold, i thought i should come out before you freeze" OMG CUTE. He was also very, very nice and polite and signed everything people asked and took pictures with anyone who wanted it. Matt: Smelled like booze and cigarettes. So hot. Right before i got a picture with him he fixed his hair like a girllllll which i thought was adorable. Jared: me: "can i get a picture" *almost faints* jared: "im fucking wasted and i look fucking terrible but okay" i took this opportunity to practically shout back YOU LOOK GOOD. Nathan: cursing up a storm... but in a nice way? you know when someone is just kidding around. got a picture with him... and he said "im pretty sure my eyes were closed in that one" but i was far too flustered to logically ask for another picture. jared and matt took FOREVER to come out... caleb actually honked the tour bus horn as a sign for them to hurry up. matt asked me: "why arent you figure out that this is the time to FILM us... when we look bad and are acting stupid" ohh no my darling matt. okay, enough of my mushy mush, this is a stupid question but how exactly do i post photos? i'd of course love to share! i'm so jealous! that sounds amazing, and they sound super lovely  |

Karma for that story! Caleb honking the horn, so cute I'm so very jealous of you right now! What did the rest of them smell like? I was just watching some interview and the interviewer said they all smelled amazing and now i'm curious!! Can't wait for these pictures either!  |

They smelled better than anything you can imagine. The only one who legitimately smelled like booze was Matt, but it was just a comforting scent. Caleb especially smelled like Heaven on earth. The single greatest aftershave. Wow. My friend "youlooklovely" pretty much shared everything already, but here are a few things she forgot to mention:
--I remember hearing the word "Christmas" come out of Caleb's mouth. Something I'll never forget.
--Jared was doing this like, dance on the bus and making the busdriver laugh
--Matt and Caleb I'm 89% sure were wearing Burberry coats
--Nathan was hilariously profane, and on stage after the show he did this weird kind of wave, and by the tour bus some guy asked him why he did that and Nathan's response was, "Because I knew you were watching, you fuckin piece of shit.." but it was funny, not actually mean.
--Nathan's chin touched my hair.
--The Followills kept the Sharpie we gave them to write with.
--THEY WERE SO THIN....All except for Matt who's just One Hearty Goddess....they show itself was amazing. Caleb said he'd visited the white house for the first time hat day and he said "I can tell you, it's looking better already!"

When I met Matt and he put his arm around my shoulder and I put my arm around his waist, I could feel the warmth and softness from his body......aaaaaaaaaah it was just heavenly!! After we took our picture and he walked away, my friends were watching for a reaction and all I could say was "HE'S SO SOFT!" I seriously just re-live that moment on difficult days... |

YOURE SOOOO LUCKY, IM SOOOO JEALOUS but in a good way oh man if i met Caleb i think i would actually collapse in a mess right in front of him, i really have no clue what i would say! its really brilliant that they have given their fans the time of day, i really hope that theyre the same in the UK (even though it WILL be EVEN colder! LOL) i may have to camp outside Glasgow SECC!! |
