Bought it today, raced home to watch the DVD only to find its the performances from the 4 music presents show with miquita oliver minus the interview and miquita! Still 5 excellent performances, especially Matt's dancing and AMAZING solo in Manhattan, but I thought it would be ones I'd never seen b4 like from the US tour, bit disheartened it has 2 be said!  |

It rather irritates me that the record company has to do this to the fans. In a time when it is so easy to steal music, they punish the people who pay for it by rereleasing the cd with extra stuff. It really ticks me off. I'll just wait for the video to show up on youtube.

Omg I can't believe thats the videos they used I was gonna buy it today but didn't have chance. I'm in 2 minds whether to get it now. You'd think they'd have put some different videos on then that, like you said they've been up on youtube for ages. I'd have been happy with something from glastonbury or something like that actually, even though they're up on youtube to. I'd consider that to be 'live' than the channel 4 stuff. I know thats live, but theres no crowd or anything if you get me |

My friend has bought me this for Christmas and I have been so looking forward to it and I have to admit I am disappointed.
Only plus side being I can keep the DVD version at home and have the normal one in the car then I don't have to fiddle about trying to remember to either put it in car or put it in house!

I'll just wait for the video to show up on youtube. my sentiments exactly! i was exhausting myself getting my xmas shopping done today and i almost bought it but i thought it might be something like this. i justify watching those clips on youtube and downloading them from there, cause one it was free tv, two i bought the album the day it was released which helped give them a first week record sales figure and three i fcking hate being treated like a moron who would buy anything just cause it's got kol written on it!! four i'd rather get the vinyl with the white cover  this is the second time i've bought this album, for my bro as a present and it'll be the third when i get the vinyl, which if there are any strange record company people out there reading this i would buy even if it did have the same cover! ...... always wondered why two covers were released for the albums. anywayyyy |

I'll pass on this one.
Its the same songs they've performed on every tv/radio show that they've been promoting it on. Why not Be Somebody or Closer or Notion?
The videos will probably be on Youtube anyway and its only 5 live songs. I bought BOTT and then bought BOTT with the live on it because its a full show.
Unfortunately this just seems like a bit of a scam to me... would be different if it had some of the other tracks performed live but they haven't.

i thought the electric lady set was far superior anyway. it's a bit dodgy with channel4 being a big company an all. dunno what it's all about. not chuffed. gna go watch the electric lady set now and smile.
