There is a new Rolling Stone mag out with Barack Obama on the cover and it says "Kings of Leon" at the top... which makes me think there will be a lovely article in it about them, and hopefully some pics too.  Just thought I should let you guys know.  |

That is one disproportionate Obama picture. Look at his tiny ears...that looks almost like a caricature.

Yeah i thought thats aswell, i kept trying to look for where it says KOL but i kept getting distracted by Obama's weird face! ( not that he has a weird face ist just the picture!  ) |

oh so you mean the article in the german rolling stone?  it was really not a good one...i don't like when people compare them with U2 or coldplay. to me the kings don't sound like these bands. they sound like kings of leon and thats it. and the german rolling stone wrote something bad about their 'aha shake heartbreak' days and it made me freak out  the german rolling stone probably hates every band except they have anything to do with bob dylan wooow, you know the famous three words in german! |

Totally agree with you, I never got the comparison with The Strokes either. And that's a band I love as well. So what they both wear skinny pants and pretty much have the same fan base? It's just a scene, and scenes are fads. KOL or The Strokes ain't no fad. They're both just uniquely amazing bands...now stop pissing me off And yess ma'am...the only 3 words one really needs to know. When I go to Berlin I'm planning to spread my love to all you fabulous German peeps with only that vocabulary! (aber...in a true love way natürlich) |
