It's a shame cos Caleb was really smiley, as was Matt? Toward the end I didn't see them smile quite so much but when the 3 guys got pulled out near my dad, they got dragged all past the crowd and Caleb pointed and almost laughed at them :/

It seems to be the crowds that are ruining the gigs, not the boys. I didn't post a review on the Glasgow thread because I didn't enjoy the gig as much as Brighton. The crowd ruined it for me and I got really hurt. But the guys still played a blinder of a set. Seems like the same for you guys here. Shame they missed off Arizona & Trani again. I reckon they'll play them tonight. It's the O2. Its going to the the climax of their tour, I reckon. I'm sure they'll pull out all the golden songs. Sorry it wasn't a great gig for you all.

Awesome pics Sarah! Karma I was over on the Matty's side, and the crowd around me seemed okay... well in the sense that they were pretty friendly rather than being lame and chucking shoes and crap on stage. Though me and my friends were getting into and singing along and jumping around right from the start, and no-one else in our area really was for ages. Anywho, so I got there REALLY late 'cause it took forever to get there. Seriously, we didn't get to the place 'till about 15mins before KOL came on and got pretty near the front, though kinda far to the left, basically on the barrier between Matt and where Nacho was, which was pretty awesome. I wish they'd played Arizona and Trani, that would have made it even better, but by playing "I Want You" they made up for it. I agree about the audience participation being pretty bad at times! Especially knocked up! I was the only one any where near me doing the woahahohohoohh-ing. And at the end me and my friend were shouting "Nacho you are awesome, we love you" for ages and he looked over and waved at us, and then I waved back and he smiled at me. That made me really happy

I have to say I agree, I bloody loved it, just felt the crowd weren't as good as Brighton. I think it's gonna be hard to top it. I wish I was going to O2 still Be pretty gutted if they bring back Trani and Arizona just for tonight. And Bournemouth's crowd better be up to scratch, because I've never seen them that close to home before, I guess you could say it's my "hometown" gig

Sarah, karma for those pics they're awesome! Sorry the crowd seemed to ruin it a little for some of you, I don't understand why people throw stuff at bands. I wouldn't even do that to a band I didn't like. When I went to Newcastle the crowd was wild, pushing and stuff but they were pretty friendly, I ended up talking to people stood around me before KOL came on. I saw one shoe being thrown around but just in the crowd, no-one threw it on stage.

The crowd around me were okay apart from a few people, I was a few people back from the barrier by Jared. There was a guy & girl in front of me who were pretty unanimated - seemed like he was there cos he was told be by the missus hah, and what seemed like a gay couple who only went 'mad' for SOF where they were almost getting off with each other, and another plonker who barged his way through everybody just to film literally 15 seconds of Knocked Up before barging back again?! I hate people sometimes. But apart from that the crowd was friendly by me, and I must say I only saw one thing thrown on stage - towards Caleb. Though a lot of people were looking for shoes afterwards. The boys didn't really seem to enjoy it that much. Jared was clearly upset with something during I Want You and Notion, he was calling to the side of the stage a lot. I assumed it was because of the sound. But maybe it was something else? Matt should get fined for smoking in a public place too, naughty boy! Only positive point I could see was Caleb really seems to be into Cold Desert, he loved it. As far as the set-list goes. I was rather disappointed with what they played, but how they played them was as good as ever. I guess I'll just have to keep going to see them in the hope I can get a Brighton-esque set one day. So roll on IOW/Manc/London 2009. Oh, another point. I enjoyed the M83 songs I knew. But my mate decided to faint when they were on instead, haha.

They played Pistol of Fire? I wonder why Jared's so pissy lately. I keep reading how he turns his back to the audience, etc. Maybe he's just tired of touring!

damn, i feel really let down that some people in the crowd were being dicks and throwing stuff! whats the point of paying the price for a ticket if your just gonna do that?
we had seats in block 5, we managed to stay seated untill around 30secs into crawl and then thought stuff this, lets dance!!! around 3/4 of the way through, most people in the seated area were up dancing!
i thought it was an excellent show, disspapointed they didnt play trani but there's always next week in cardiff. i couldnt help but notice the amount of drinks getting thrown in the the crowd too, some people must of got soaked!

well all i really have to say is... i was soaked by beer , pushed around alot (so i left where i was being pushed).... and when i did move, the people around me were like zombies . motionless apart from a slight head-bob... meanwhile i was jumping, clapping, singing along with one woman next to me. i didnt really notice jared getting pissy, but i was at matts side. He seemed to enjoy it, and smoked LOTS of cigarettes. Does anyone know why jared was so pissed off? best song of the night for standing crowd participation as far as i could see (except the obvious SOF)... was black thumbnail. negatives: Pushing/angry people, beer throwers/any other missile throwers, leaving out classics like trani-spiral staircase etc, some zombified standers (sit in the seats next time?) positives: great performance all around, awsome gig considering the downsides i dont write much on here but they've been my favourite band since i first heard "Y-A-Y-M" so i think the SOF fans should just stay at home next time and let the REAL fans get there and enjoy it!! ... all in all... well done those boys
