He does occasionally if Caleb or Nate are talking, but never Matt  . They'd have to sort Matt out with a device for muting Jared's mic or something  I'm trying the 'listen again' option on XFM, and that also has about 15 mins of silence at the beginning. Whoops, XFM really fucked up with that one! I wonder if the podcast will work...? hehe, good idea, perhaps we should build him one  I will follow Matt everwhere and everytime Jared interrupts I will punch him in the face! He will soon learn...simple behaviour modification technique!! Eventually, it will work and then I will just find another reason to hang around like a bad smell  |

Anners & Lily, if you click 'listen again' on the XFM website you can chose which show to listen to. Click the date (Sun 5th) and the show (XFM Residency). There's a quick sound sting and the start of the show is announced, and then it goes totally silent. Just leave it playing, and after 25 minutes M83 will suddenly start playing and you can listen to the last 20 mins of the show.

Animal Collective have some great songs, but they also have some songs that make me want to stab myself in the eyeballs with red hot pins! I love 'In The Morning' - definitely their best song. So saucy! |

XFM obviously think Matt and Jared have ideal radio voices:

Heh heh. Their voices do make a welcome break from those strident English accents.

Ahahahahahahaha I was thinking batman but for some odd reason Mattman wasnt in my head at all Matt cave.........*sigh* priceless!! On one of those xfm interviews from OBTN he goes "na na na na na na na na" trying to sing something but it completely sounds like batman, so funny! I think i posted batman on the thread If only I could photoshop...... |

I'm listening to the Residency now, and the Animal Collective song is 'Grass', which I love. It's a perfect example of one of their songs where the balance between genius and eyeball-poking irritation is just right And...oh my god, they're playing 'Oh Mandy' by the Spinto Band!!! NOBODY ever plays this song! My best friend is obsessed with it, I swear she made me listen to it about 20 times in a row because she was convinced it was an example of the perfect indie-pop song. She bought their album on the back of that single, but I thought the album was shit. 'Oh Mandy' is obviously a one-off. |
