I wouldn't mind making a cover album of various groups who have covered our favorite band. Kind of like a Tribute album. So if you know any other artist that dared to cover our band post it. I came across one that I fell in love with. They are called The Bamboos and they cover King of the Rodeo. www.myspace.com/thebamboosIf I get enough tracks to make a decent tribute album I am going to call it "Footsteps of the Followills." |

Oh sounds like a great plan batman!! There are a good few threads on here bout that so if you have a nosey you might find a good few!  I recommend not putting James Morrisons cover on Sex on Fire on such an album cause it makes me wanna vomit!! |

I kind of like that bamboos cover. and i never like kings of leon covers. Simply cause theres no point in even trying, the original will always be better. but i like that they have made it their own, they havent tried to sing it exactly the same, but in their voice lol. okay, im not even making sense now. the moral of me rambling on was i liked it!  |

I've never heard any covers apart from the James Morrison one and its pretty obvious that it was a disaster lol so I'll listen to that one you posted.
Whenever I go on youtube and search for KOL it always brings up bands covering their songs

Im not really a fan of people covering KOL songs but its a good idea as long as they were decent so stay away from James Morrison SOF cover, the Ting Tings Bucket cover and Gabriella Chimney (or whatever shes called) cover of four kicks! and should should be doing ok! At least theres one thing we can be thankful for at least Amy MacDonald hasn't decided to cover any of their songs, she covered The Killers When you were young at T in the Park this year and i swear im not one for violence but i wanted to run on stage and knock her out!! |

They made it sound like a ting tings song! (if you get what I mean) Absolutely murdered it. Some friends of mine wanted to go see them a couple of weeks ago so we did, there was an absolute mosh-pit started by 12 year olds it was terrible! And her voice annoys me. |

i recently saw Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and they did a cover of Arizona.
it made my heart melt. i should be punished for saying something so lame.
but anyways, i don't know where to find it, but that might actually be worth something.
