Poor 17 with its 0 votes! No-one appreciating Matt's genius!  actually i love all of the songs! can't understand why so many people already said (in other threads) that '17' is a bad song, just because of the bells. i love this song, especially the 'ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh' in the backround when caleb sings 'well it's a combination of a story and a good-bye session...' I appreciate Matts genius and I'd love to see him banging on some tubular bells like king kong but I dont think the bells are the whole problem, I really dislike the lyrics and I just dont like the vibe of the song!!  |

yeah 17 is just not my type and also my most disliked song on the album...but the other songs make it worth listenting

Notion , I want you and Cold Desert are the only 3 songs i really listen too on this album. People go on about they are "Trying new things" on this record But sadly its nothing new at all. Its a tried and trusted industy formula for making records sell which the producers have used. "I want you" is clearly something the lads have tried something different on and pulled it off well.
Cold Desert is KOL doing what they do best, a top track full stop on any record they've done or will do i the future
Notion is the one of the faint time swhen Caleb might just go for it, even tho he doesn't go all out A'la "Joes Head" "McFearless" etc. It gives me hope he'll let rip once again.

ah man, i cant decide between use somebody and cold desert. ITS KILLING ME!!
i never got the obsession of closer.
but since i just watched the use somebody clip like 10 times in a row, my vote goes to use somebody.. hurrah!

I'm so late but I'm replying anyways.
I actually really like OBTN (and 17!!); but of course I'm a backward fan meaning I started loving them with Sex on Fire and am now moving backward through their albums and discovering more and more..
But anyways. I'd have to say either Notion or Be Somebody.

I love them all but it's between Crawl/Sex On Fire & Use Somebody. I think it's gonna have to be Use Somebody, I can listen to it over and over again.

I like really love every single song on the album 17 is one of the favourites tbh. But i do love. I WANT YOU < joint most with be somebody but i had to say I want you. cos it was my first favourite one on the album  And well cold desert is also a favourite.. My least played is proble sex is on fire. but thats probably because i hear it on the radio and that all the time unlike the rest |
