Whats your favorite album, by KOL ?

Right, a simple one this ::

Whats your FAVORITE ALBUM by the Kings ??

and WHY ?

hmmmm ... I know its hard, but i have gone for Because of the Times;

mainly because of , Arizona, Charmer, Black Thumbnail, McFearless, Camaro, I love all the tracks, but these few get inside my head.

I would have to say that there isnt much between YYMH or ASH.
Most ppl will pick YYMH because its the 1st album, what ppl would class as KOL at their roots !!

So many ppl at the moment on the forums are hung up on the new album sounding different to the previous 3 albums, and I for one were erm ... not disapointed, but surprised when i heard OBTN, but i am really loving it. Sadly, depending on how you view the change in sound, things always move on, not nessesarly for the best, but after hearing Caleb talking about the new album, I can understand the album better and i totally love it. Sure its not ASH, BOTT or indeed YYMH, but it is un-mistakably Kings of Leon !!

I went through all 4 and quickly picked out their best tracks off each album... and i thought that it went (based on the number of awesome tracks per album):

BOTT
OBTN
ASH
YAYM

Controversial i know.

But having said that, Trani is arguably their best song. But so is Slow Night...And Closer and Cold Desert and Knocked Up.... Ah, fuck knows...

Sorry i didnt realise the votes were locked until the end of voting. Does any1 know how to alter this, i cant seem to get back into the poll anywhere ? or is that it now? if so, i will give it a few days then show them? but surely there is a way to edit the poll setup? help?

hi, do what bengbrazier did, and go thru the albums track by track and work out what u like and dont (if any at all) and vote on the best album like that, otherwise its too hard, agreed they are all top notch great albums, but one must just pip all the rest to the post ! and we are talking musically, nowt to do with their image or fanbase or owt stupid, just purely the music !!

Well I went through and i found it impossible, I really did. I worked out that BOTT I like more of the songs more than what I do with ASH. But ASH I like less songs as much? If that makes any sense. It's gonna have to be a tie I think but if i did have to pick it'd be BOTT, at the moment. I go through phases

BOTT went from my least favourite album to my favourite since OBTN came out. Sounds fairly fickle but it dawned on me its the one I'm in the mood to listen to the most. Y&YMH was close because its the only one I can listen to straight without skipping a track but I'm staying with BOTT

Easy one: Ah Ha Shake Heartbreak all the way! No contest in my mind.

It's very tight between Aha Shake and BOTT, but then again Trani is my favourite KOL song of all.. but I don't love the album quite as much ASH and BOTT overall. Actually, Arizona is my other top song and it's pretty much even with Trani so I think I'll go with Because of the Times. Well, that'll change again in about two seconds so I'll just post this before I think any more about it.

YAYM - caleb's voice is so raucous and the whole album is so raw and punchy. I chose it because some of my UTMOST favourite tracks are from that album- trani/spiral staircase/joes head/cali.. but it was a close call between YAYM and AHA. Soft/Milk/KOTR/Slow night i also love. Eeek it's so close between the two.. can't i have two votes!?!?
