A band as established as KOL would have final say on what goes on their album - not their record company, and never their management. So blame the boys! You're kidding? Nah even u2 don't get the FINAL say. At the end of the day all 'The Man' cares about is money money money so no way would they release an album without it going through them first.

'Course it goes through the record company, but unless there's a surefire hit being left off the record I doubt - in this case - that there would be much meddling in the band's decisions.

Right you are Instead of 17 or Notion, mhm whaaat?? i love 17 and notion! i think whoever says that these amazing b-sides WILL be b-sides and not on the album, is very very clever. cause you have to admit that KOL are known for their great b-sides and so the fans are like 'oh i have to go buy this album' or 'i have to go and buy this single' BECAUSE there'll be an awesome b-side on it. thats what i think. whatever, it works

^^hmmm, they are probably only known for their b-sides among fans who go to the trouble of buying singles and searching for older stuff etc. I have a feeling many people who love OBTN wouldnt know this and so I dont it would be clever to leave a brilliant song (IMO) like beneath the surface off the album for that reason !

Personally I think they should've added it to the album, not replacing anything. That way, they'd have to write another awesome B-side that we'd all say should be on the album! I guess it's just how it goes, Oasis, my other favorite band, has tons of great songs as b-sides (particularly their older ones). I think it just shows how much talent the Kings, and Oasis have. That nearly all of their songs are great.

kuthbert has got a good point. the band / management / conjoined leon pixie twins are hamming up demand. they probably will release some sort of b sides rarities album sooner rather than later. and i know i always say, so do most people, if they got gauranteed first class b sides then for some reason even if some of the tracks that made it onto the album aren't actually as good, you're always left in the refrain of 'they're a wicked band, look *produces proof* why would they release *** as a b side if they weren't .. so nerrrr' <~ in my case would be the closing argument. case in point - oasis. forgotten my point. oh yeah no matter which way you look at it it always looks favourable and opens up more possiblities of where to take yr music. like yr neither defining nor confining yrself ....................... hahahahahahaaa can't BELIEVE i just said that!

I Fucking LOVE this song...Caleb sounds so sweatily hot ...the bass so low low low, the pounding of nat and matts ever increasing licks..its just sooooooooo good. I like to think of it as the boys little present for all of us not just jumping the wagon
