I was thinking about this on the train on the way home as I listened to my ipod.... I would love to hear them do 'I could die for you' by the chili peppers.... the song moves me already, so to hear Caleb sing it would just be like WOW!!!! What would you choose?

Something by Pearl Jam or My Morning Jacket. Maybe "Do the Evolution" (PJ) or "Run Thru" (MMJ)

"thank you too" by my morning jacket- it totally fits their new "love song ballad" thing they have going on...

I like the idea of seeing them do a Pearl Jam cover... Corduroy would be cool. Or maybe some Tom Petty Runnin' Down a Dream..

Going To California by Led Zeppelin was the first song that came to mind for me. Wierd.

One more cup of coffee - Dylan. The verse structre would fit Caleb's voice perfect.

man now im pissed that they've never done a cover. I dig his singing style so much that it would be the shite if i can hear their take on a classic tune that i like. I got a few
Yer Blues-Beatles
Monkey Man-Toots & Maytals(or you may know Amy Whinehouse version, esp you limey fuckers (just a joke, not sure if that is offensive)
Sweet Leaf- Sabbath
Who Do You Love-Bo Diddley
And It Stoned Me- Van Morrison (i'm sure the 'jelly roll" would fit his dirty lyric lovin perfect)

Nooo something completely random and unpredictable! A lame popsong or something. And of course OWN it from thereon. A song like ..Dontcha by The Pussycat Dolls.
Oh man that would be perfect.

wasnt monkey man by the residents? No it was Toots(1969) . Residents not even listed on bands that covered it, so maybe a different song.
