There are some songs which sound average on CD but then when you go and see a band live the song just comes to life and blows you away. Can you name the songs that do that for you they don't have to be KOL tracks!
The 2 songs which do this for me are:-
Trani by KOL and BAD by U2.

I like My Party much better live than on CD. And Band of Horses - The General Specific. It's a good song on CD too but I loved it live.

I wasn't big on Ragoo until I saw them in December last year, and they played it! Since then its been in my top 3 of BOTT tracks I reckon.
Also they played Camaro at that gig which I really didn't expect! I've always LOVED it but that just made it all the more special!

And i second your Trani vote. Much MUCH better live. Like one of the best live songs i've ever seen.

I also second Milk sounding better live. The recorded version was just ok, but once I heard it live, I appreciated it a lot more. Knocked Up and King of the Rodeo are also much better live.

Trani absolutely- they go mental when they play it live. And Head to Toe is electric live. On CD it sounds flat. And Soft. Actually to be fair i think they play everything better live than on the CD, it just has more energy.

wasted time live is amazing plus slow night, best ones are songs like knocked up milk and arizona where you can hear his voice
apart from the kings my fave live ones are white stripes - ball and biscuit, the solos are incredible, muse - knights of cydonia, what an epic live song and enjoyed arcade fire - wake up

King of the Rodeo blew me away at Roskilde And i agree with ballandbiscuit on Muse - Knights of Cydonia! Muse, for me, is better live than on cd... I can't really figure out if it's the same with KOL - I have to see some more shows before I pass judgement on that one!
