I wasn't convinced about console on its own like that, but followed by with, that makes it a whole lot more likely. I struggled over the first word but last night I was convinced I could hear a P there at the beginning. Maybe just imagination. Still have a feeling it's promotion, (as in promoting the band) but you know, it's a close thing. Ahead would be a lot less filthy than the head, wouldn't it?  Meaning? My reading is that it's about great sex, but sex for the sake of sex, not particularly about love. Doing it up an alley or in a car, taking chances, all that kind of thing. To make you feel better about something. And it ends up making you feel like the best thing that ever walked the god damn earth. (And in about a week you'll feel like sh*t, sitting in some kind of medical waiting room with people looking at you out of the corner of their eye. But that's not part of the song. The more I listen to it the more it does sound like those are the lyrics, but it could be 'console, with the words to transpire?' If they don't include the lyrics with this album were screwed  |

Yeah my thoughts exactly. Cold desert is a tricky one. Can't hear half the words but I still like it. Same with 17.
I never understand any of their songs 100% untill I read the lyrics.

The more I listen to it the more it does sound like those are the lyrics, but it could be 'console, with the words to transpire?' If they don't include the lyrics with this album were screwed I'm pretty sure that he's saying "Consumed with what should transpire." Could be wrong though |

I will be extremely embarrassed, with myself mainly, when the real lyrics come out. haha
It'll be tough to get out of the habit of singing all these songs with the lyrics we think we hear right now... that's one of the drawbacks of downloading the leak. I was weak. I am ashamed.

yeah, the "busting (or bursting) at the seems" seems close enough, but I can't understand the next line. I could swear it says "brothers....." something. AH, this is frustrating...
