well, i hear:
"stand by..."
Whenever i've seen it live, it looks like matt is saying stand by. I think if you go to youtube and watch it live you can hear them sing that...not sure...i'll check.

I'm positive I hit the nail on the head with this a couple of days ago  OK the song is about your what you believe in and belief in yourself, or that's what I have come to the conclusion of from the lyrics.... Sounds like you put a lot of thought to it Pexbo, so I'll just agree with you for that matter. Haha, well I think if you love a song, you can enjoy it even more if you understand what its about? That and I'm pretty OCD when it comes to lyrics.... it usually only takes me a few listens before I pick them up and when I hear any old crappy pop song on the radio I still tend to know all the lyrics and it drives me insane when I hear someone singing something that is not only wrong but makes no sense! Oh i love AOL sessions! And that sounds exactly what it sounds like! Ahhh I love the AOL sessions track aswell I wasn't a big fan of Mcfearless on my first few listens to BOTT but when I saw that video it blew me away and suddenly jumped up to being one of my favourites on the album (Along with Knocked Up, Black Thumbnail and Arizona ) |

I'm not hearing the cause part, plus I dont think they could sing that quickly.
It's just "I'll stand by" with either and or yeah in front of it in my opinion

I don't even like it that much ( I mean, obviously I like it, but it's not one of my favourites) and it's not catchy at all, I don't understand. I don't know Werchter 08, I'll youtube it. It sounds great live in general.
