aw that caleb interview is cute, he sounds knackered and relieved to be home.
love his voice! that chorusy bit. nice! they are so original and they have so many influences in their songs and by how they glue them together they exceed them all to create something so beautiful.
ok, i'll stop being mushy now. there's a bit when caleb sings 'yr sex is on fire' where i dunno if i like it but i think i do cause it seems funny to the rest of the song. like i think that's the kind of thing that makes it great cause somehow with him singing that bit and also the actual words it prevents the song from being overly sentimental, which i reckon would totally kill it. the balance is just perfect. christ i mean no wonder they like the finer things in life now they've got money to enjoy them, they make fucking classy music. they are. you know how they manage to actually do something with their creativity and they produce something so accurate to how they want it to sound (i assume, i mean it could have sounded totally differnet in their heads lol). it takes so much talen to be able to do that. it's just incredible.
