Hi everyone!! I dont know if this is posted anywhere else, so forgive me if it is. I just thought it would be cool to share your favorite live version of a song... Either one you saw in person at a show or one you have heard from a live bootleg. My personal favorite is the version of Trani off of the Day Old Belgian Blues Live EP.. You can hear Caleb throw the mic stand down at the end . I did get to see that live at a different show.. but this version of the song is just the best!!

I think my favourite is the T in the Park footage of Happy Alone. i think i once have Annie the link for it, a while ago. anyway, i love the work of the camera men in capturing the crowd and the band, really well. plus, its an older live performance, and i love the old KoL days.
im sure many more will spring to mind.

Hehe I'm glad to see i'm not the only one with lots of love for Trani live!! They didnt play it at either of the two shows i went to in June. I was worried they weren't going to play it anymore (like they stopped playing Wicker Chair) but they played it recently at Glasto and some of the other festivals didnt they??

In terms of video footage i think Trani at Bonaroo is immense as well as any of the footage from Reading last year but i think of gigs that i have been to i would have to say Happy Alone at the Carling academy in 2004 it was mental i thought the roof was going to come in!

Thanks, yeah, I know I'm lucky. But wait, they didn't play "SN,SL" at all the shows (w/PJ)? I figured the song was a staple, like their usual closing song. Or did they just not play it with Eddie every night? Footage from Rockin' in the Free world? From where?

Yes, they did do SNSL at the shows, but not with Ed. I was pretty surprised.. But then again it was the first 2 shows of the tour.. and Ed didn't even do a preset so.. I guess i'll hope for them to tour together again so i can get to see it RITFW is on youtube... I'm at work so I can't get to it (they block it BOOO). Just go to Youtube and search for "Pearl Jam Virginia Beach".. You should be able to find it. It's quite funny. Looks like they had a great time performing it!
