Yeah, it's Adderal, the ADHD drug. I dunno about it being for him having fisticuffs with Nathan, I read it was so he could remember the lyrics onstage.

Adderall is a drug that is used for people with ADD or ADHD to help them concentrate.
It is also used as a stimulant to control your appetite and by college students because it is similar to speed and helps you stay up all night to study.
Caleb was on pain medication so I would say probably Vicodin, Morphine, or Methadone was what he was on. Maybe Valium to help him sleep as well.

As krite said, adderall is not what he was on, he said it was pain meds for his broken hand... I agree it could have been vicodin, it could also have been percocets, i broke my ribs once and they gave me percocets, got me pretty floaty! i love how people are going to pop all types of pills just cuz caleb did.... probably not the smartest thing to do... all kinds of people will end up either dying or having great memory from taking adderall hehehe....

ok then he takes adderall too, a lot of people do. Fact is though, its not a pain medicine... and he said he got the ideas and beautiful melodies while taking the PAIN medication he was given for his BROKEN HAND... If your doctor gives you adderall as a pain reliever for a broken hand, you got yourself a pretty horrible doctor... and yes adderall helps you maintain your memory and concentration for longer periods of time. Thats why its given to so many children who have trouble in school. In the interview up he clear states thats the reason why he uses it... to REMEMBER lyrics. Not to write them.

Perhaps he has ADD. Maybe that explains why he dropped out of school as well.
