So I just downloaded Crawl... and was pretty dissapointed with the studio version. The live versions had so much energy, but the recording was so subdued!!! It sounded so held back. I want the live version download instead...
Does anyone else agree with me here?

I preferred the live, but that could be because it's what I'm used to hearing.
Give me a couple of days to get used to the studio version and I'll give you a better opinion.
You get to hear more detail in the studio versions and I've only managed to listen to it once at work.

I have been warming up to the studio version a tad bit, but I still like live better. Honestly, both versions are great, it's just I wish the studio one retained more of a live feel.

It was amazing at T in the park but i think i prefer the studio. I love the song overall, so messy and dirty. the boys have gone back to their southern roots.  |

Only Crawl and 4 Kicks sound better in the studio in my humble opinion.

I like the live version, but the studio version is bumpin. Something about the vocal effect and that bass line makes it the shit imo!

ive definetly got to say live version..
im really noy liking matts guitar work for much of the song... its just nowhere near as ballsy as jareds bass... and just seems a bit weak
i like everything else tho

Love love love the live version first posted by mookie. Though Matt's guitar solo is quite awesome in the studio version. Can't wait to experience it live when they start the new album tour!!!

One thing I noticed with the studio version that I didn't like is Caleb doesn't say the thing he says right before the guitar break out (last line in the song). Not sure what the lyrics is, but it wasn't in the studio version. Though I overall prefer the studio version.
