Matts guitar was korean you can tell by the epi logo. I've got an earlier japanese sheraton in wine red with a different style logo.
Anyway what happened to his sheraton at T in ther Park? He was playing that gibson(Es135???) i've seen him play it before but only for ragoo i think.

Its such a cheap guitar, usually rock stars play with guitars worth a couple of grand.
Want amp does he run it through? I have a telecaster with a fender frontman amp, and buying my second guitar and thinking of an Epi Sheraton as its cheap enough and i want to try recreate that Kings sound

You'd get a closer sound with a good new amp. Matt uses ampeg reverberockets but used to use orange amps and the like. i use a laney vc30 and get pretty close. Basically buy a good tube amp and a dan electro daddy-o and you've already got the old kings sound, newer sound would require more complex gear. I use a tele as a back up guitar and its not that different sounding to my sheraton.

Holy shit....I'm in a room full of boys for once..... It's pretty shit there aren't that many women that would be into the equipment as much as the guys playing them in general, as a woman myself noticing this. Somebody remarked on how cheap it was.... this reminds me of Noel Gallagher. The man has enough money to buy a Gibson, yet he still played an Epiphone to this day, though technically, Epiphone's supposed to be a "budget Gibson". I'm liking Matt's choice but I'm sick of seeing those Ampegs and Matchless up there though between himself and Leb. Never dug Matchless.

Never dug Matchless. epiphones arent a budget gibson.. they are just owned by Gibson... 30, 40 years ago..Epiphone guitars were world class ... but with mass production they have gone a bit downhill anyway..musicians modify guitars (change pickups etc) ther guitars... so ye...it mitny be the most expensive guitar at first look but itd have a bloody good interior

Does anyone know what reverb, echo and delay stuff matt uses?
I know he has a rack so im guessing he's got something rackmounted and i've seen pics of him with what i think was a line 6 verbzilla but it sounds more complex than just that.
And does anyone know whether he's still using the sheraton or not because he used a gibson at t in the park.

yeah ive been in the market for amps recently.. they start at like 3,500 USD wow, totally over-priced. You can get hand wired tube amps for less than that AND sound better, but y'know, a musicians choice is a personal thing so to each their own.
